Why the YThe Y is an association of people who have committed to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all people, regardless of their ability to pay. We are a non-profit, charitable organization established to provide programs and services to youth, adults and families in order to strengthen the community. The YMCA is funded locally. Funds raised through contributions, endowments and membership fees are used to provide services in Will, Grundy and part of Kendall counties.

Your Y Membership Offers All This and More!Everyone belongs at the YMCA! Were more than just a place to work out; more than a place where families can spend quality time together; more than a place to learn to swim; more than a place for kids to play team sports; and more than a place for seniors to stay young at heart. Were all those things and more. Were a place where you belong!Y Member Benefits: Galowich-Smith Full Members enjoy unlimited use of the Galowich and Smith Family YMCAs and the Morris Community Y. They may also use the C.W. Avery Family Y twelve times during a calendar year. C.W. Avery Y Full Members enjoy unlimited use of the Avery, Galowich, Smith and Morris branches. Morris Y Full Members enjoy unlimited use of the Morris Community YMCA and twelve visits to the Galowich, Smith and C.W. Avery Family YMCAs during a calendar year.
