A great program is planned with major keynote and plenarysessions, 6 workshops and 18 presentations from a wide

range of evaluators and backgrounds.

Keynote speaker Patricia Rogers, Professor inPublic Sector Evaluation at RMIT in Melbourne will give two

keynote addresses: Friday and Saturday mornings from 9amto 10am. She will discuss M&E methodologies and developingcountry contexts (Friday) and strategies for developingevaluation expertise and capacity (Saturday)

Noted Papua New Guinean speakers include: Professor DavidKavanamur (Office of Higher Education), Professor Betty Lovai (University of Papua New Guinea), Mr Hohra Suve (National Economic Fiscal Commission) and Joelson Anere (Department on National Planning and Monitoring).

DON’T MISS IT! The conference will be enjoyable and informative.Presentations will range from practical approaches to M&E, evidence-basedprograms, challenges in development, logic models, measuring changes inprovincial expenditure, social inclusion and how to monitor large infrastructureprojects to successful on-time and to-budget completion, to the role of newtechnologies such as mobile phones and visual participatory evaluation.Workshops will cover practical evaluator methods as well as raise the veryimportant question: “Is there a Papua New Guinean way of doing evaluation?”.

K50 per person per day, payable at registration (this covers morning and afternoonteas and lunch on Friday and morning tea, lunch and closing drinks and finger food onSaturday
