PARA EMPEZAR

“Desear versus necesitar” Look at your 20 verbs. Which verbs do you wish to do? Which verbs do you need to do? In notebook, make a list of 6 verbs in each

category, like this:

1. Deseo escuchar música en la clase de español.

2. Deseo cantar…3. Deseo 4. Deseo…5. Deseo…6. Deseo…

¿Qué pasa? Forming questions

Otro ejemplo:

“¿Descansas en la sala de clase de español?”

“No, no descanso en la sala de clase.”

One way to form a question is to raise the pitch of your voice at the end of a declarative sentence.

You can also form a question by inverting the order of the subject and the verb of a declarative statement. The subject may even be placed at the end of the sentence.

Questions can also be formed by adding the tags ¿no? or ¿verdad? at the end of a statement.

ACTIVIDAD: ¿QUÉ HACES? ¿QUÉ TE GUSTA HACER? Get together with a classmate and take turns asking each other if

you do different activities. Which activities does your partner like?

Write down 6 original questions along with your partner’s answers in your notebook for the next notebook check (11/30/12)

Modelo:

Estudiante 1: ¿Tomas el autobús?

Estudiante 2: Sí, tomo el autobús, pero no me gusta.

or: No, no tomo el autobús.
