[ SAVING MONEY WITH THE CHAMBER ]Discounts and Promotions for Members, by Members

Infintech Credit Card Processing:Chamber member Auto Logic, an automotive repair shop in downtown Carrboro, switched their credit card processing to Infintech in 2012 and anticipates savings of about $10,000 in the next year. We’ve found a credit card processor whom we trust who can give member organizations a big discount on Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express card transactions. No cancel-

lation fees, transparent processing fees that won’t change, and no need to change banks. Check out our new partnership at www.infintechllc.com/chapelhill or contact Greg Sullivan at [email protected] or (919) 357-9972 for a free quote. “I’m pleased to say that we have saved about 1.1 percent on credit card processing,” said Andrew Jones, Auto Logic founder and co-owner. “That represents about a 33 percent reduction in card processing fees. Approxi¬mately 90% of our billing is through credit cards, so it really adds up.”

Lenovo Computers and Accessories:Big discounts on Lenovo’s entire product line, including award-winning ThinkPad notebooks, tab-lets, desktops, workstations, servers and accessories. Shop online at our exclusive discount portal at www.lenovo.com/carolinachamber and enter the passcode ChapelHill (all one word, capital

C, capital H). “After shopping prices, we used the Chamber’s Lenovo portal to purchase our new computers. The savings were huge, and we spent $10,000 less than budgeted,” said Briggs Wesche, general manager, Southern Season.

Time Warner Cable Business Class Internet and Telephony:Big savings for new Time Warner Cable Business Class customers or existing customers who want to add phone ser-vice, cable or high speed Internet. Contact Contact Paige Lieske at (919) 357-9971 or [email protected] for your quote. “Our Chamber membership enabled us to save sig-nificantly on telephone and Internet service. Saving more than $350 a year, we can now put those

funds directly toward serving our community,” said Justin Simmons, executive pastor for Love Chapel Hill, a local faith community and Chamber member.

Our Local Deal Retail Discounts:Heard of Groupon or Living Social? We launched a local version! And we partnered with WCHL and Chapelboro.com to put the power of the radio behind our daily deals. Register your email address at www.ourlocaldeal.com and start receiving daily offers for local products and services at 50% off or more.

Small Business Health Service (Health Care):A partnership with Piedmont Health to provide affordable health care to uninsured employees and family members of Chamber members. This isn’t health insurance, but it does give you, your employees and their dependents access to affordable primary health care and generic medication. Participation in the service is free and gives you access to primary care physicians for $60 per visit, including any in-house exams, as well as generic prescription medications filled on-site for $10. Contact Amy Rix at [email protected] to sign up.
