You will explore the tools, concepts andtechniques used by financial people, develop an understanding of statement analysis, learn to use

    financial reporting systems and enhance your ability to communicate effectively with accountants.

    Instructor(s): Dr Chris Graves BA, MEc, PhD, CAChris is a Chartered Accountant and has been involved in accounting education for the last15 years. Prior to joining the University of Adelaide Business School, Chris worked as anaccountant in a number of different fields, including public practice, the banking sector, andthe manufacturing sector. He is currently the chair of the audit & compliance sub-committeeof a medium-sized not-for-profit organisation. Through his experience in industry andeducation, Chris has developed the knack for teaching financial literacy to those with anon -finance background in an engaging and effective manner.

    MS ProjectDesigned as the ideal follow-up to Project Management! The two days combined will provide you with theskills and knowledge to successfully manage projects. Our Project Management course covers thefundamentals of project management and explores how these can be incorporated to improve current

    work practice. MS Project will introduce you to the software application Microsoft Project, a useful andpopular project management tool used for business project planning, scheduling tasks, managingresources, monitoring fees and generating reports. The course will introduce you to the tools used tomanage projects using Microsoft Project. You will explore the ways that you can use the software tomanage resources for efficient execution of projects.
