Zia’s Agile Solution Methodology

Mobile workforce enablement is an increasing trend for Zia’s enterprise customers. Zia’s Fresh Docs ECM application is available for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms. The newly released Fresh Xpense application is a simple expense and receipt capture tool for the iPhone that integrates with Xpenser.com.

Who Should Use Fresh Capture?

• Departments that perform non-batch scanning (typically up to 10 or 20 documents at a time)

– For example: HR, Accounting, Public Works, and Clerk Departments

• Individuals looking to save on paper storage cost by moving to electronic doc storage

• Excellent as a quality control application to manage scan quality and metadata assignment.

– For example: If you scan your paper docs and assign metadata, you perform a Quality Control review prior to “releasing” to Alfresco.

• What it should not be used for:

– Zonal scanning solutions (pick a location on a scan document, scan and OCR

For example: It does not scan an invoice number from a document in a standard location.

– If you process large amounts (100 or 200) of the same types of documents, you will not want to use Fresh Capture
