DAY 2

FULL GROUP ADVENTURES TO CHOOSE FROMMOUNTAIN SCAVENGER HUNT

Your group will enjoy our unique and fun Mountain Scavenger Hunt withglobal positioning satellite (GPS) technology at a scenic location in theSangre de Cristo Mountains. We add a new level of excitement to a groupouting by combining fun, physical activity and GPS technology. After beingbriefed on how to use the technology and given coordinates for the first huntlocation, each team is given an advanced GPS device to search for hiddenspots. At the hidden locations, they unearth a clue and sometimes undertakea challenge to help them find the next destination. This stimulating eventfosters group bonding, encourages problem solving and educates everyoneon a new generation of orienteering technology. A guide accompanies eachteam on the course.

NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURAL ADVENTURE at PUYE CLIFFSNative American Cultural Adventure at Puye Cliffs: For more than threecenturies beginning in the late 1100’s, Puye Cliffs was home to approximately1500 Pueblo Indians who lived, farmed and hunted game there. Theseinhabitants are ancestors of the present-day Santa Clara Pueblo people.Knowledgeable native guides lead guests on an exploration of this recentlyre-opened monument, including close-up examination of the enigmatic cliffdwellings as well as the mesa complex, with anthropological interpretation.This hiking adventure can be complemented with a Native Fiesta lunch,Native dance performance and/or pottery demonstration.

DAY 3 or AFTERNOONSHORSEBACK RIDING at BISHOP’S LODGEGuests climb aboard a friendly equine to experience the natural world at apace conducive to absorbing northern New Mexico’s spectacular alpinescenery. Trail riding requires no previous experience, though skilled riderswill enjoy our outings every bit as much as novices. The stables at Bishop’sLodge stables show every guest a good time, with rides that make you feellike you’re starring in your very own Western in the woods and mountainsof New Mexico.

FLY FISHING AT PRIVATE RANCHThe serenity that comes from casting a fly on a clear mountainstream is unbeatable on an angling outing. Your pilot will fly you throughthe canyons and take you aloft to get a bird’s eye view of thisstunning high desert land of Las Barrancas (The Ravines). Duringthe flight, your pilot will demonstrate the operation of the aircraft andpossibly give a little flight instruction.
