Randi Lynn Nanemahoo-Candline is also a Jingle Dress dancer and makes all of the beadwork for herself and her family, who also dance powwow. She enjoys shar- ing her experiences and cultural teachings/practices/arts with others and has had many opportunities to present, teach, and travel throughout Canada and the United States. Culture Days aCtivities planneD for shaunavon

The Grand Coteau Centre is planning several activities in conjunction with Culture Days in two weeks, including an event open to the public on Saturday, September 28.

Two special guests - Wilbur Sargunaraj and Randi Lynn Nanemahoo-Candlin - will be making appearances at the GCHCC on Saturday.

The morning sessions will feature a beading workshop, music and storytell-ing, as well as a Jingle Dress dancing exhibition.

The Grand Coteau Centre has also made arrangements for Wilbur and Randi Lynn to make appearances at all three Shaunavon schools - for a wide range of activities - on Friday, Sept. 27.

Wilbur will also be the keynote speaker at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon at noon on Friday at the Canalta Hotel.

Shredded Brussels Sprouts 1/2 pound sliced bacon 1/4 cup butter 2/3 cup pine nuts 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, cored and shredded 3 green onions, minced 1/2 tsp seasoning salt pepper to taste Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons grease, crumble and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter in with reserved bacon grease over me-dium heat. Add pine nuts, and cook, stirring until browned. Add Brussels sprouts and green onions to the pan, and season with seasoning salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until sprouts are wilted and tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in crumbled bacon just before serving.

Public Notice – RM of Bone Creek No. 108Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the RM of Bone Creek No. 108 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 2013-04 known as the Zoning Bylaw.

Bylaw 2013-04

Intent: The proposed amendment adds regulations for ground mounted solar energy development and lists this form of development as a discretionary use in the Agricultural District. The amendment also adds definitions for solar energy systems.

Affected Land: The amendment will affect all lands in the RM of Bone Creek No. 108.

Reason: The reason for the amendment is to provide regulations for ground mounted solar energy development allowing solar farm development applications to be considered in the RM as a discretionary use in the Agricultural District.

Public Inspection: The proposed bylaws can be examined by any interested person during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, (excluding public holidays) at the RM of Bone Creek office located at 340 Centre Street, Shaunavon, Saskatchewan.

Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on October 9, 2019, in the Council Chambers of the RM of Bone Creek office located at 340 Centre Street, Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. Any person that wants to comment on the proposed bylaws is welcome to attend or to submit written comments to the undersigned at the RM office prior to the meeting. Council will consider all comments received. For further information, please call the RM Office at (306) 297-2570.
