We’ve planned an awesome, activity-packed summer with tons to learn, play, and explore.Y kids stay active, whether it’s learning new skills, inventing a new game, or working on a project with newfound friends. Summer at the Y allows kids the space to grow stronger and more confident in a safe, nurturing environment.
Day Camp is all about experiences, skill building, new friendships, and exploring rural and urban settings while getting to go home after each day’s adventure.

At the Y, we’re famous for our summer camps.
If you talk to a child after a week at Y summer day camp, it’s easy to see what makes us special! From outdoor adventures to science and technology, and everything in between, the Y offers kids the chance to try new things while having tons of fun.
DISCOVERY CAMP
Grades 1–5
Create, learn, play, and adventure all summer long! Enthusiastic Y staff keep campers engaged balancing enrichment experiences like art, science, and story-telling with physical games and outdoor play. Each week’s theme is woven into the day’s games, activities, and fun. Campers will make new friends and develop skills in small groups.
KIDS ON THEIR WAY CAMP
Entering Kindergarten
Give your child a head start for Kindergarten! Trained Y staff lead activities that focus on fun, but also build cognitive and social skills to ensure they are ready for their first day of school. Weekly themes are woven through age-appropriate projects, daily activities, and outings in a small group setting.
PEAK CAMP
Grades 6–8
Set your sights on the summit this summer! This camp is designed to help develop decision-making skills in young teens by encouraging positive values through challenging, fun, and character-building experiences. Led by some cool counselors, campers will reach their peak together through time outdoors in team-building, group games, and community service projects.
OUTDOOR DAY CAMP
Grades 1–5
Learn to respect and enjoy the magic of the outdoors through exciting and fun adventures with weekly focus areas in outdoor environmental education. Days fly by as campers make new friends and develop outdoor living skills, explore nature, and participate in team-building activities with their small groups.
CAMP IN A BOXGrades K–5
Bring camp fun to wherever you are, virtually! Boxes will be filled with the tools you need to explore the great nearby including classic camp activities like arts and crafts and hands-on STEM projects. Plus, campers will stay connected with each other and their counselor through twice daily interactive Zoom meetings.
Our expeditions will take you to some of the most beautiful and natural places in the Pacific Northwest. Full of natural beauty, trips inspire youth to be their most courageous and confident selves as they learn new skills, make lifelong friends, and challenge themselves to run towards adventure.
BOLD & GOLD EXPEDITIONS
Grades 6–12
Camp Colman and Camp Orkila have been staples of Washington for over 100 years. They offer kids and teens the chance to explore their individuality, become a part of their own community, and enjoy the classic American camp experiences of archery, rock climbing, and s’mores over the campfire.

Community service projects planned by campers OR week-long camper led and planned service projects
