You will receive a series of emails that will include the following:• Camp registration confirmation that includes
dates registered and paperwork needed for your child to start camp

CAMPER PAPERWORK• All forms for all 2016 campers must be completed
by May 15 for your camper to start camp.• Summer 2016 will require new camper paperwork;

CAMP INFORMATION
PAYMENT INFORMATION Traditional Full-day, Kindergarten, Preschool and Traveling Teens camp slots will be held with a $25 non-refundable deposit fee for each camper per weekly session at time of registration. Deposits are applied toward the cost of each session. You will receive a statement in the mail for each session you registered for (unless you sign-up for direct deposit). Specialty and Sport camps are to be paid in full at time of registration. Payments are due as follows:

• Bills not paid by the due dates shown will be subject to a $30 late fee. Campers who do not have their fees paid by the Wednesday before the session will not be allowed to attend camp the following week until it is paid.
• Cancellations/refunds/credits: Refunds or credits for a camp are available prior to June 1, 2016 only! However, the deposit of $25 per week for the full summer camps is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. A $10 registration fee will be deducted from the refund/credit to all other camps.
• Switching weeks: there will be no option to switch or transfer camps after the Wednesday of the week prior to camp in order to maintain staff/camper ratios needed for safety. A $10 "switching fee" will be applied.
• All campers must hold a valid YMCA membership to receive the member rate at time of registration and must remain valid until August 31, 2016.
• Financial Assistance is made available on a limited basis for families in need. Applications are avail-able at the Member Relations Desk during regular business hours or on our website.
• DHS Child Care Subsidy: we do accept YWCA Child Care Resource and Action for Children. Depending on your income, you may be required to complete this process before receiving a scholarship from the YMCA.

LIABILITY STATEMENT The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago does not carry medical, accidental or loss of personal property insurance for any program participants, due to the fact that it would drastically increase the cost of our program fees. Please review the insurance policies that protect you and your family to be certain that proper coverage is in place.
SAVE MONEY ON DAY CAMP Join the YMCA with a Youth Pass or Family Membership. If you sign up at the Day Camp open houses, the joining fee is waived!

TRADITIONAL FULL-DAY SUMMER CAMP (Ages 6-11, finished K) Summer Camp is designed for youth to grow and increase self-confidence while developing values, respect and self-esteem. Children make lifelong friends and have fun! Daily activities include: swimming, crafts, sports, camp songs, gym, cookouts, group games, healthy kids activities and a field trip on Wednesday or Thursday.

HALF-DAY CAMPS
PRESCHOOL CAMP A half-day program for children ages 3 to 5. Activities include arts and crafts, stories, songs, dramatic play, games, swim lessons on Wednesdays, free swim on Thursdays, tumbling and a trip to the park and library every week on Fridays. Register for Preschool Camp sessions by the week. (Children must be potty trained to attend this camp.)

SWIM LESSONS
All campers are invited to our camp only swim lessons! Each session will run 5 weeks, and you can choose 1-day or a 2-day option on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 4-4:45 p.m.
The camp counselors will bring campers to their lessons and bring them back to extended care until a parent/guardian arrives to sign them out of camp. Groups will be divided by age and ability to challenge your camper and make sure he/she gets the most out of class. Take advantage of the convenience of this one-stop shop during your camper's week at the Y.
Please note: if you choose to sign-up for the regularly scheduled group swim lessons, you will have to come sign your child out of camp and take him/her to lessons on your own. Camp staff will only be responsible for getting campers to the camp swim lessons. No make-ups are available.

TRAVELING TEEN CAMP
TRAVELING TEENS (Ages 11-14, or entering 6th grade) Teen Campers have fun exploring Chicagoland's hottest spots by traveling 3 days a week to exciting places including water parks, sporting events, arcades, Six Flags and much more. The campers will also be participating in several different community/service projects throughout the summer. This camp is a great way for your teen to make positive lifestyle choices, explore the area around them and have fun with friends.

NEW! COMMUNITY HELPERS Start the summer off in a helpful way! Campers will spend one day visiting the local community; places such as the fire and police stations, hospital and animal shelter. Campers will cap off the week by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children.

2016-2017 CHILDCARE PROGRAMS
PRECIOUS PEOPLE PRESCHOOL (3-5 YEAR OLDS) Join us as our teachers lead your child in a fun and exciting experience. Children have fun learning through creative play, crafts, music and educational tools. We also expose your child to a physical curriculum that includes swimming, tumbling and ice skating.

KINDERGARTEN ENRICHMENT If you are looking for a fun-filled experience for your kindergartner that provides a balance of classroom and large motor activities, then the Y's Kindergarten Enrichment program is for you! Children will enjoy learning through academic based activities such as art & crafts, calender time, sensory stations, dramatic play, group story time and much more. Students will also experience a wide variety of large motor activities that include swim lessons, tumbling, park adventures, ice skating, gym and swimming. All participants are picked up from Elmhurst District 205 schools and are provided a healthy hot lunch and afternoon snack.

AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURES (GRADES 1-5) Do you want a program that offers a safe, fun and structured environment while also giving students the freedom to choose from a wide variety of activities? Then join us for After School Adventures at the Y! Activities include gym, swimming, park, ice skating, interest clubs, activity stations and much more!
