The objectives of this section are to:

Be able to recognise and describe the main features of motor learning difficulties

Understand definitions of dyspraxia and developmental coordination disorder

Experience what it may feel like to have these difficulties

Understand how the condition might affect children

Assessment section

The objectives of this section are to:

Introduce the main types and purposes of assessment Describe the role of professionals in assessment Describe the normal process of motor skills development Outline the difficulties which may arise Provide a sample assessment profile and record form

Describe the process of motor skill acquisition

I had a similar reaction to the lady in the video. I was rather ashamed of my effort-it was rubbish! Part of me wanted to give up, another part of me wanted to start again. I think I felt I could get better if I had the motivation and energy to keep trying, or if someone encouraged me to have another go.
