LABSIM FEATURE GUIDE
Skills Guarantee
Skills Guarantee LabSim Instructions
For schools to participate in the Skills Guarantee program, a LabSim administrator at the school needs to “turn on” the Skills Guarantee feature in order for instructors and students to see Skills Guarantee feature inside LabSim.
(Figure 1 – Inside a LabSim Administrator account, under “My School,” click the pencil icon).
(Figures 2 & 3 – Check the “Participate in the Skills Guarantee program” box).
Skills Guarantee messaging will now be viewable by instructors and students.
(Figure 4 – In a student LabSim account, a student will see “Skills Guarantee” inside the Certifications Tab).
(Figures 5 & 6 – Students will then see a box to learn more about the Skills Guarantee. Clicking on this link will send them to the Skills Guarantee webpage. If a student has passed a Pro certification, he or she can click the “Request” button to request instructor approval of the Skills Guarantee)
(Figure 7 – In an instructor LabSim account, an instructor will now see “Skills Guarantee” inside the Certifications Tab).
(Figure 8 – Instructors will then see a box that explains the Skills Guarantee. Any students who have requested approval will be listed. Instructors will then need to click “Review terms and conditions” or “Approve”).
(Figure 9 – Instructors will then see a box with the Skills Guarantee terms and conditions).
(Figure 10 – After clicking “Agree,” instructors will see that the student’s request for the Skills Guarantee has been accepted.
(Figure 11 – The student will then see a red dot on the Skills Guarantee icon within the Certifications tab).
(Figure 12 – After clicking the Skills Guarantee icon, the student will see a box to download the Skills Guarantee certificate).
