What the U. S. Government can do to help get jobs in the USA and stabilize businesses

so Americans can go back to work!

Solutions in a World workplace

1. Eliminate Employment Tax.

• U.S. employers are taxed for using US workers, makes using foreign labor cheaper for US companies.

• Pay for this by a 9% income tax increase at all rates and no exemptions, tax first dollar, just like FICA but no income caps.

• Means test Social Security. • Immediate bottom line benefit to US employers. • Will stimulate domestic hiring immediately.

2. Reduce all interest income and Capital Gains Income Tax to a Flat 15% Rate.

• Attract money to simple and true investing and not the “tricks” financiers come up with to minimize tax.

• Encourages domestic private investment.• Immediate market response! • Decreases the need for companies to pay

higher return rates because they are competing with mounting tax free interest on government debt.

3. Create a single payer Health Care Network.

• Threshold health care -- government funded.• Tax exempt individual purchase of qualified

additional health benefit from private insurers.• A 0.5% national sales tax funds the program.• Statutorily eliminate the collateral source rule,

giving immediate comp and liability premium relief.• Require published prices for the qualified additional

benefit plans and statutory underwriting guidelines.• Require medical providers charge the same rates

to self pay or privately covered customers.• Require medical providers to publish and disclose

prices before visits and procedures.

4. Rational Foreign Policy

• Not Free trade, but Fair trade. Reciprocal trade policy. Other nations set our policy—by their policy.

• Cease giving money to other governments. If governments need money to be able to kill other humans, they need to get that from their own citizens or investors. (period)

• Focus resources on people, health care, technology, education and non-profit aid programs delivering to people not governments.

• Focus on WORLD SECULAR EDUCATION to combat the destructiveness of fundamentalism

5. Educate Americans• Not all children will go to college, schools must be

more than “college prep” to meet their needs.• Fully fund high school programs to train those who

sign up in areas like carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, office skills, child care, nursing and computer program starting in 9th grade.

• Regulate public school administration overspending on facilities and non-classroom endeavors. Require at least one classroom educator for every non-classroom educator to receive federal funding.

Sound Simple… or fundamental?

•Government spending will have to be paid with current taxes or debt--eventually.

•Government debt competes with private demands for capital. Debt will never get us out

of this…….Policy change will…….•We have lost jobs in the US because we

discourage employing US citizens by our tax and healthcare funding policies.

•It’s time to change our focus to full citizen employment

and full world education.
