LONG TERM PERFORMANCEWoodNature Blinds have been produced from Polystyrene for long term performance in the window. Polystyrene provides improved resistance to fading, cracking and peeling, allowing these blinds to be used in areas with high humidity, extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

CONSISTENT STYLEThe natural characteristics of real timber means many colour and grain variations which can produce an inconsistent looking product. WoodNature Blinds have been developed to capture the look of real wood whilst eliminating any inconsistencies producing a beautifully presented blind.

EASY MAINTENANCEThe composition of WoodNature Blinds means they are easy to maintain. The slats can be easily wiped and cleaned with a damp cloth with no need to continually re-stain the blinds as you do with real wood.

STRONGER SLATSWoodNature allows for wider tape spacing due to the thickness of the slats lending more strength to the overall blind. This means less tape is needed making the fabrication and installation process quicker, as well as having fewer cords visible through the blind producing a more visually appealing end result.

All slat, bottom rail and valance can be purchased in 2.75m lengths, please refer to your price list for pack sizes.• Slat cuts well and will not chip with 250/300 mm saw blade, type Z80.• Punch holes do not crack or chip, provided punches are kept sharpened.• To prevent scratching, we recommend opening boxes down the full length and removing the slat / rail / valance

from the side of the box.

The Valance and the Bottom Rail are both made from PVC foam (more traditional faux wood material). They are better made this way, as co-extruded polystyrene does not work so well for complex shapes in thicker material. The valance and bottom rail are also painted, and printed with the same design as the slat so they match perfectly.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

UVAll Slats are coated with an acrylic UV top coat and are completely UV protected. In accelerated UV testing, all slats achieved a light fastness of 7 out of 8 where 8 features no colour change.

HEAT RESISTANCEAll the slats have undergone stringent heat testing and have achieved the following results:• No distortion present between 48°- 65°• -1.5mm maximum movement between 66° - 71°

PLASTIC TESTINGIncoming plastic raw materials are tested for lead content on a regular basis. (Must be less than 200 parts per million, US standard, part 1303, Title 16, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter II – Consumer Products Safety Commission of USA). All submitted samples have passed testing and content is well below permitted limits for safety.
