MURDER MYSTERY EVENINGS

The Langstone Mysteries 3rd February | 30th March | 25th May 2018

Lord Roland Crump is on a grand tour. Having inherited his family estate and the title that goes with it young Roly is touring the best hotels in Europe and inviting his most glamourous friends to party the night away with him. However, his friends are nervous. People around Roly have been dying and everyone is fearful for their own safety. An undercover detective is also a guest. Can he protect them, what is the connection between the victims, and who will be next?

A country house party and a plot based on the traditional board game. Dr Black is a renowned lepidopterist (studies butterflies). He lives with his niece, Rayne Bowe, who is being wooed by the dashing Captain Brown. Reverend Green is visiting, to discuss the church roof fund, and housekeeper and cook Mrs White is keeping an eye on everyone from below stairs. One of them is murdered, but will it be in the library with a lead pipe?

The Vicar’s Tea Party 16th February | 27th April | 22nd June 2018

Well, the church roof isn’t fixing itself and the power of prayer has its limitations, so Reverend Green has decided to organise a tea party fundraiser for the residents of Littleton. The village busy body is there, as is the Lord of The Manor. The publican’s wife is a keen baker who came second in the village bakeoff and has a chip on her shoulder. So, when the winner is murdered all eyes fall on her, but there is always a tangled web in these small communities, and it soon emerges that everyone has a motive.

Murder at the Casino 23rd March | 11th May 2018

It’s casino night at Langstone. A famous poker player is in town, and he has been winning big! Jack ‘Black Jack’ O’Reilly has been on a winning streak since the world number one died in a freak accident at a Vegas casino. Now he is top of the game and taking the opportunity to tour the UK. When a young lady is found dead in a bedroom at Langstone and there’s a link with the dead number one player, DI Catchem has a hunch that he needs to join the party and question Black Jack.

until you reach the A3 (M), junction 5, (A27/A2030). Leave the motorway, sign posted Hayling Island. A3023; take 2 exit at the roundabout.

You are now at the junction with the A27 take the first exit off the roundabout to join the A27 towards Chichester. From the A27 exit the

junction with the A3023/B2149, at the roundabout take the third exit sign posted Hayling Island.

Cross over the bridge & take the first turning on the left, follow Northney Road down until you reach the hotel.
