In September, Hutt City Libraries is hosting a
nationally-touring exhibition of 70 million-year-
old dinosaur footprints discovered in northwest
Nelson. They are the first dinosaur footprints
ever found in New Zealand!
The exhibition is brought to you by GNS
Science and principal sponsor New Zealand
Oil and Gas.
Dinosaur Footprints: A Story of Discovery
Hear Dr Greg Browne talk about this exciting
and important discovery and explain the
science behind it.

Dinosaur Sleepover
Kids can bring their teddy or soft toy to the
library and leave it overnight, to be cared for
by one of our resident dinosaurs, who will not
under any circumstances eat the other toys
