Please join the adults in the Family Room for our guest speaker. -UPLIFT—Our Uplift participants will be back Thursday afternoon, June 27 th . -FORTRESS is a mission trip to the inner-city children of Fort Worth on July 21-25. It is for 7 th -12 th graders and the cost is $110. The deadline to sign up is June 30 th . Forms can be found under the youth board in the YAC. Wanda Harp is doing better and is gaining strength.

Knox Lowe, B. D. Lowe’s brother, was moved to a skilled nursing facility and is doing a little better after having a stroke that paralyzed his right side.

Sympathy is extended to The Family of Donna Totty following her passing early Friday morning. Services were pending at print time.

Sympathy is extended to the P. J. Mansmann Family following his tragic death in an automobile accident last week. He was the stepson of Laura Morgan Mansmann. Prayers are requested for peace and comfort.

CLASS ROOM CHANGE—THE COLLEGE CLASS with Justin Kellogg leading has moved to room 309 in the YAC and meets every Sunday morning. THE WISE FOUNDATION FUND RAISER is immediately after the morning service TODAY. Baked potatoes will be served, and everyone is invited to attend. 5th SUNDAY: There will not be a 5th Sunday meal and there will be no afternoon or evening service next Sunday, June 30. ATHENS VBS/CHILDREN’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE CLASS: Join us as we learn more about PAUL and GOD’S LOVE every Wednesday night this summer through July. All kids ages 2-years old through 6th grade are invited to join us on this adventure. LADIES - We will be stuffing bears this coming Friday, June 28, at 10:00 in the library. The bears are given to the hospital auxiliary. A BLOOD DRIVE: Carter Blood Care will be here on Sunday, July 7th, from 11:30 to 4:30 PM. They will be set up in the parking lot in front of the YAC. There is a sign-up sheet in the north foyer at the Welcome Center counter, if you are able to donate. GEAR UP—Hold the date of August 4th for this event to serve our community. Go to “Gear Up Central” in the north foyer for more information and to complete a volunteer form. Volunteer and T-shirt deadline is July 7th. See Marcy Edwards for more information for volunteers or call/text her at 940-393-1517. Donated children’s books and clothing can be dropped off at the N. foyer. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to help with either the sound system or the computer during worship services. Please see Shelly Reeves if you are able or willing to help. THE ADOPTION of Celine by Randy & Angela Warzecha has not been completed. The following is from Randy: The custody papers were signed last Wednesday, but one detail we found out later is there is also another document (certificate) that needs to be signed for us to keep with us so we can legally have her in our custody, which the judge should sign by tomorrow (this past Wednesday)... if he drags his feet (which happens a lot), he will then enter in recess and only comes back in August ... please keep us in much prayer that he will sign beforehand.
