    NOTICE is hereby given that the following Stay Orders have been issued in accordance with Section 7, Subsection 1, of " TheFarmers' Debts Adjustment Act, 1930-1934," which reads as follows :

    lative Assembly for the East Perth District.The Petition of James Joseph Kenneally, of 18 Vin-

    cent street, Mount Law ley, Minister of the Crown,whose name is subscribed:

    1. On the 24th day of January, 1936, the Clerk ofthe Writs issued Writs for the Election of one Memberof the Legislative Assembly for each Electoral Districtwithin the State of Western Australia and the follow-ing dates were appointed for the purpose of such Elec-tion:

    1. For Nomination, Saturday, the 1st day ofFebruary, 1936, at 12 o'clock noon;

    2. For taking the Poll in case of the Election beingcontested, Saturday, the 15th day of February,1936;

    3. For the return of the Writ, Thursday, the 27thday of February, 1936.

    2. Your Petitioner, the said James Joseph Kenneally,duly nominated as a candidate for Election as a Mem-ber of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australiafor the District of East Perth at the said Election.

    5. On the 14th day of January, 1936, the saidThomas John Hughes was adjudicated bankrupt under"The Commonwealth Bankruptcy Act, 1924-1933," bythe Court of Bankruptcy, Western Australian District,and thereafter until the 25th day of February, 1936, hewas an undischarged bankrupt. On the said 14th dayof January, 1936, a receiving or sequestration order inbankruptcy was made against the said Thomas JohnHughes by the said Court of Bankruptcy, and thereafteruntil the said 25th day of February, 1936, there wassubsisting a receiving or sequestration order in bank-ruptcy against the said Thomas John Hughes. Uponthe said 25th day of February, 1936, the said receivingor sequestration order was annulled by the said Court ofBankruptcy.

    Whereupon your Petitioner prays that it may be de-termined:

    (1) That the said Thomas John Hughes was notqualified to be elected as a Member of the saidLegislative Assembly at the said Election;

    (2) That the said Thomas John Hughes was not dulynominated for the said Election;

    (3) That the said Thomas John Hughes was not dulyelected;

    (4) That the said Election for the District of EastPerth was absolutely void;

    1. To construct a highway from Canning Bridgealong the waterfront of the Calming and Swan rivers tothe Board's western boundary, namely, the junction ofthe south bank of the Swan river and the western boun-dary of Swan Location 70.

    INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTURAL AREASREGULATIONS.

    (a) No portion of the Road Board District shall beused for industrial, and/or agricultural purposes, exceptthose lands coloured purple, and excepting the areas de-fined in the Schedule. Industrial and/or agriculturalpurposes shall mean any work, manufactory or indus-trial or agricultural enterprise not included iu a businessarea.

    (b) No noxious trade as defined by the Health Actshall be established in any residential or business area,and shall be confined to the gazetted industrial area, andin such location as the Board may deem best in theinterests of the ratepayers and public health.

    (c) Any noxious trade must provide for drainage dis-posal and the elimination of smoke and odours whichthe Board may consider detrimental to residential areasor the amenity of the Road Board District.

    (d) When an industry is established at the date ofgazettal of the Town Planning Scheme, the land shallnot be used for any other industrial purpose or changeof purpose, without the approval of the Board in terms(if the scheme.

    Schedule of Industrial and Agricultural Area.Regulation.

    1. All land coloured purple on the approved plan.2. That area of land within the following lines in-

    cluded in the following areas:Starting at a point where Stock and Haig roads in-

    (h) The whole of the northern frontages of Canningroad from Petra street to Westbury crescent, from andincluding Lot 1, Swan Location 70, to Foss street fromWaddell road to Stock road, and from Sleet road toCanning Bridge.

    The south side of the Canning road west of NorthLake road, comprising Lots 25 to 31, both inclusive.

    The approved Shopping Area bounded by Canningroad, Wilcox street, and Simpson street, and from Sleetroad to the Esplanade.

    The whole of the northern frontages of Preston Pointroad from Point Walter road to First street.

    The whole of the frontages of Ardross street fromKintail road to McDonald road.

    The whole of the frontages of Short street from theEsplanade to Coogee road.

    The whole of the frontages of Beryl place and Shirleyavenue from Beamish avenue to Beryl place.

    The whole of the frontages of Carrington street fromZenobia street to Aurelian street and the whole of thewestern frontage of McKimmie street from Tamarstreet to Marmion street, the whole of the western front-age of Stock road from Cleopatra street to Zenobiastreet.

    The Shopping Area may include any of the followinguses:

    retail or wholesale business.5. Workrooms connected with retail business in

    which not more than 50 per cent. of the totalfloor area is devoted to workrooms.

    6. Garage or petrol-selling or service station.7. Such other accessories as the authority might

    determine, but shall not include any industry,trade, or manufactory.

    RESIDENTIAL AREAS.(a) All lots or land within the Road Board District

    not included in the Industrial or Shopping Areas maybe used for residential purposes.

    Provided not more than one dwelling is erected onan area of 6,000 square feet or under. Provided also,

    that where a subdivision or separate title has existedprior to the gazettal of the Scheme for lots of less than6,000 square feet, the Road Board may permit the erec-tion of single family dwellings, subject to Health andBuilding By-laws, and subject to any Regulations underthe Scheme.

    (0) Churches, public buildings, or other institutionalbuildings may be erected in the Residential Area, withthe approval of the Board.

    (c) No residential lot shall be built on to cover morethan one-third of the area of such lot.

    (d) No lot shall be built on where such land is belowthe seven feet contour as defined on the Plan, unless:

    1. The land is drained to the satisfaction of theRoad Board, and/or

    2. The land is built up to the level of the crown ofthe road (whether existing or to be built) onwhich the lot fronts.

    Notice of Intention to Borrow.Proposed Loan of £5,000.

    NOTICE is hereby given that the Armadale-KelmscottRoad Board proposes to borrow the sum of £5,000, tobe expended on works and undertakings in the Anna-dale-Kelmscott Road Board District, the said works andundertakings being the building of a Public Hall andshop attached, and the furnishing of the Hall, on ReserveNo. 21514, jull street, Armadale.

    The plans and specifications, and the estimates of thecost of the said works and undertakings, and statementshowing the proposed expenditure of the money to beborrowed, including the cost- of supervision and initialexpenditure in connection with the raising of the Loan,are open for inspection at the Office of the Armadale-Kelmscott Road Board, situated Armadale, for onemonth from the publication hereof, between the hoursof 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, and 10 a.m.to 12 noon, Saturdays.
