The Well-Tuff® Range has been specifically designed to offer

you a complete furniture solution for all different aspects of

challenging behaviour.

For a number of years our in-house development team have been

working with various clients and experts, across a wide spectrum of

the care and secure sectors, helping to create furniture designs that

will aid with the support and safety of their varied residents’ needs.

By doing this we have gained a vast experience and knowledge in

understanding the necessary key point design features that are

essential to allow us to produce furniture items which offer extreme

durability along with excellent quality and value for money, while

still maintaining a warm homely look and feel without looking

harsh and institutional.

The Well-Tuff® Range has been tested and maintains certificates

for Strength and Stability to BS4875 Parts 7 & 8 (2006) Test Level 5 -

severe contract furniture.

Within our Well-Tuff® Range we offer everything from Beds,

Bedroom Cabinets, Lounge/Living Units, with Secure TV Cabinets, to

High Dependency Secure Furniture Solutions, however if you have

DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

The Drawer System has• Tested to BS 4875-7:2006 Test Level 5,

Structurally suitable and stable for

severe contract situations.

by far the strongest drawers available on

the current market. The drawer box and

base is made from 18mm thick melamine

faced MDF which is then mounted on

extremely heavy duty steel roller runners

rated to 100kg. These drawers are fixed

so they cannot be removed without the

aid of security tooling.

All bedroom units have cut-out handles

as standard whereas the living range

items are all fitted with the finger pull

design handle which is secured using

anti-tamper fixings.

Various hinge options on the wardrobes

depending upon requirements.

FOUR

Optional sloping top doors available. Scratch resistant polycarbonate panels are used

in all viewing products.

The tops of all units are made from 25mm thick

melamine faced MDF with soft rounded corners

and smooth profiled edges.

The wardrobes do not have any hanging rails,

to try to reduce obvious ligature points, instead

they have a fluted shelf which allows the

hanger to sit in to it.

Security fixings throughout as standard.

Units have solid 18mm melamine faced MDF

backs, these are stepped in at the back when

fitted to allow the unit ends to be scribed

neatly to the wall.

Retro fitting sloping tops are available for the

wardrobes to try to prevent climbing.

SECURE TV UNITS

Our Secure Living TV units are made to house a modern

television, DVD players and games stations. These items can

be locked safely away from risk of abuse without reducing

viewing quality.

Each unit is fitted with its framed 6mm thick scratch resistant

polycarbonate viewing panel. Polycarbonate is rated to be up

to 200 times stronger than its equivalent in glass.

Available in 3 different cabinet sizes which will house most

modern-day TVs .

and rehabilitation.

The unit options available will allow

you to maximise storage facilities

without overcrowding the room.

There are 3 different hinge options

available on the wardrobes

depending upon your requirements

these include standard270 degree

hinges, piano/strip hinges and our

extremely heavy duty 270

hinges which is a strip hinge that

allows the doors to open 270 degrees.

All of the units have scooped out

handles as standard and wherever

possible all corners and edges have

been rounded and smoothed off to

reduce obvious risks of injury. All of

the units have18mm thick solid

backs which will allow them to be

wall secured very easily without the

need for extra brackets or ties.

To try to help to reduce climbing

there is the option of a sloping

top section, this can easily be retro

fitted to a wardrobe even after

the wardrobe has been installed and

TEN

The Well-Tuff® WARDROBEand Well-Tuff® GENTS are fittedas standard with semi concealed 270 degree

opening all metal hinges, 3 per door on

wardrobes and 2 per door on gents robes.

The anti ligature wardrobes are designed totry to minimise obvious ligature risks while

maintaining the simple smooth design.

Some of the features included are thesloping doors, and heavy duty piano/striphinges which are fitted using anti tamper

screws and an anti-ligature clothes shelfwith groove to allow the use of a cardboardhanger, cut-out handles and soft rounded

corners on the tops of all units.

The Well-Tuff® 270 WARDROBES, have all of the standard design features of the anti ligature wardrobe but with the added

benefit of having fitted to them theextremely heavy duty strip hinges that aremade especially for us. These hinges have all

of the advantages of a standard strip hingebut they allow the door to be opened back270 degrees and fold flat against the

wardrobe end, which greatly increases theresistance to abuse. The hinge is fixed to thedoor using anti-tamper screws which are

fastened into the edge and face of the door

Reinforced internal liningsand support sections

Available in 3ft & 4ft widths, all beds take a standard 6ft 3in long

mattress, 18mm Melamine faced MDF with internal reinforcing linings

and smooth rounded corners to the head and foot boards. The bed

also has a fully secured bottom panel to eliminate all potential

concealment areas. This bed can also be fixed to the floor if required.

The bed is delivered in two sections which are then easily fastened

together - this is done to ease installation.
