A GUIDE TO CAMPUS RESOURCES Your College resources – not only are they free, but they can help prepare you for a career, for learning effective writing and studying skills, for enhancing health, physical,

emotional and mental acumens and participating in student activities. Most college students never visit the career center, the library, professors, academic advisors, nor

find tutors they need to help with tricky math/science/other problems or talk with a Counselor/Pastor or Retention Intervention Team Member or College Success

Coach who can help them resolve issues, problems/concerns or a Certified Mental Health First Aider who is able to assess risk signs of distress, including anxiety, depression,

substance use and eating disorders and to offer initial help in a mental health crisis and refer to appropriate programs. Use these services to help you grow, equip you with

necessary skills that will stand the test of time, as well as assist you with concerns that arise over the span of your college career. Take advantage of all your campus resources

– visit them – you may be quite surprised at what you discover!

Begin. Believe. Become.

The Alma Mater

The College Hymn

When we come to thee, dear Voorhees, The School we love so well,

We, will hail thee as a guiding light, That ever shines afar.

Chorus:

Alma Mater, dear old school, We'll raise aloud a song,

For we love our dear old Voorhees, The White and the true Blue.

In These halls of knowledge true,

Each day we come to you, Trying now to shape our future

With ideals good and true.

Chorus: Alma Mater, dear old school,

We'll raise aloud a song, For we love our dear old Voorhees,

The White and the true Blue.

When we've finished our work with you, We'll leave these walls so true,

And we'll strive each day to follow Your principles of true blue.

Chorus

Alma Mater, dear old school, We'll raise aloud a song,

For we love our dear old Voorhees, The White and the true Blue.

We build our school on Thee, 0 Lord,

To Thee we bring our common need;

The loving heart, the helpful word,

The tender thought, the kindly deed.

We work together in Thy sight,

We live together in Thy love;

Guide Thou our faltering steps aright,

And lift our thoughts to heaven above

Hold Thou each hand to keep it just,

Touch Thou our lips and make them pure;

If Thou art with us, Lord we must

Be faithful friends and comrades sure.

We change, but Thou art still the same,

The same good Master, Teacher, Friend;

We change; but Lord, we bear Thy name

To journey with it to the end. Amen
