William H. Kain County Park, located in Springfield and York Townships, consists of 1,637 acres of picturesque woodlands and lakes. The prime attractions are Lake Redman (290 acres) and Lake Williams (220 acres). Both provide numerous water related activities. WILLIAM H. Trail conditions are available 24 hours a day by calling (717) 840-7440 (Admin. Headquarters), following us on Twitter (@yorkcountyparks), Facebook or checking trail open/closed signs in designated parking lots. Fishing - Lake Redman and Lake Williams contain a variety of game fish. Boat and shore fishing are permitted in designated areas. Night fishing is allowed. Boating - Rowboats, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks, paddle boards and hydro-bikes are available for rent, during the summer months, at the Lake Redman Activity Area. Lake Wil- liams offers one boat launch; Lake Redman offers two boat launches. The boat launch at Lake Redman Activity Area and Lake Wil- liams Activity Area are open to both trailers and car-top boats. Night boating is allowed on both lakes. The Sparton Road launch is open to car-top boats only. Neither lake permits gas motors. Pavilion Rentals - Five ADA pavilions are available for rent. To make a pavilion reservation, go to www.yorkcountyparks.org. Those that do not have computer access can call the parks office. Pavilion fees are non -refundable. Rules and Regulations

Please make your visit safe and enjoyable by following posted rules and regulations.

In case of emergency, or to contact a Park Ranger dial 911.

Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Pets must be leashed.

Wildlife and plant life shall be left undisturbed.

No swimming in either lake

Additional information is posted at most parking lots.

The park is closed from dusk to dawn. See Boating for Lake Redman/Lake Williams exceptions.

Parking at pavilions is strictly prohibited.

To unload/load your vehicle, use designated parking spots.

15 minute parking only at loading/unloading spots.

From exit #14, (I-83) take Leaders Heights Rd west to S. George St. Turn left on S. George St. and follow to Jacobus

FOR LAKE REDMAN: Turn left on Church St. in Jacobus. Follow 1/2 mile to Boat Launch Area on left.

FOR LAKE WILLIAMS: Turn right on Water St. in Jacobus. Go 1/2 mile to Boat Launch Area on right.
