BULLI
A special reminder that Bulli nominations close this Monday at 9am as Bulli will race next on Thursday night September 10th. Bulli raced in the twilight zone last Friday with Londonderry trainers Anthony Azzopardi and Kristy Sultana both picking up winning doubles. Sultana got the cash with Hoosh Nar and the jackpot dog Paul Dozer picking up the nice $800 bonus. Azzopardi enjoyed a memorable night that included a Bulli double with Myrniong Plow and Asa Killa Queen before picking up the Group 2 Blacktop at the Gardens. With Asa Killa Queen and Paul Dozer both picking the nights 400m 5th grade heats other heat winners was Taipan Tracey for Adam wade setting up another good final at Bulli this Friday night. The much anticipated return of the Brett May prepared Hay Fergus attracted plenty of attention and this young flyer lost no admirers in a good 26.21 win over the 472m in another stepping stone to bigger things. Other winners on the Bulli card were Expressive for Craig Chappelow, Spring Murder for Harry Glynn added to his impressive record and another youngster Nangar Flame for Dennis Barnes recorded an eye catching win. Mark Azzopardi stepped up It’s A Bird to the 515m and punters jumped aboard for an all the way win.
