WELCOME FALL!!! A few corrections on our Tote Bag from the Quilter’s Quest shop hop. The lining should be 14 x 17 After you fold and stitch the straps, just cut the salvage off and they should be around 40 inches each. Whatever length you have is good just cut off the salvage. The important thing is that they are the same size. Also you should square up the fronts and back to 14 x 17 so that they are the same size. At the next shop hop I didn’t have to do a pattern so we should be good!!! We have lots of cool things coming up in the next couple of months. The most important one is the Owners Class on the MC15000. Be sure to check that out in this newsletter. Call the store for more information. Coming in 2016: Anita’s Workshop “The Perfect Sewing Room” This is a great pack that does cord wraps and many other useful things to get your sewing items organized. The date will be announced after the first of the year. We have booked another Jenny Haskins Event. The dates are September 10 & 11, 2016. Paula will be coming back with new projects. Get yourself on the list and we’ll have more information soon. The ladies that went to it this year will tell you how much fun they had. We are also going to do a Hoopsisters class. Many have done some of their quilts. This one is very pretty. Summer Dreams is a compilation of some of their favorite blocks but totally redone and modernized!! They are quick stitch with the longest block taking only 30 minutes. The cd is multi formatted and the block sizes are 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Purchase the cd from Marie’s and the one day lecture demo class is free. This cd has digital cutting files on it!!!! I am working with Hoopsisters to get a trunk show here too. Call to get on the list. Thank you for supporting Marie’s Sewing Center. It is our wish that you have a wonderful Thanks- giving, a terrific Christmas, or Holiday, and a absolutely wonderful New Year!!
