AUG 13, 2017Iraqi Military Forces found and

cleared different types of projectiles, 2000 mortars, locally made weapons, and cylinder launchers in Al-Agidat area in Mosul Al-Qadimah.

Asaish Forces found and cleared a storage of explosives near Prdi in Altun Kupri in Kirkuk.

Popular Mobilization Forces• Found and cleared IEDs, and weapons;

20 flat pack IED, 30 cylindrical IEDs, a bag of detonators, 100 meters of wires that are used in IEDs, 10 command wire IEDs, 50 mortars, thermal missile, and rocket launcher made locally in the outskirt of Al-Lwaybida and Um Gharba villages in Salah Al-Din.

ISIS used a sniper that targeted Asaish Forces in Daquq district south of Kirkuk, which injured a member.

WEEKLY EXPLOSIVE INCIDENTS AND FRONT LINE AREAS IN MOSUL CITY

AUG 14, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Found and cleared IEDs, weapons, five

tunnels contained guns, communication devices, documents contained names of the executed civilians, 50 gallons with chemical materials used for making IEDs, and improvised fighting vehicle in the eastern side of Mosul city, Qayrawan subdistrict in Mosul, Dayum area and the way of Namel-Makhoul in Salah Al-Din.

• Found 500 dead bodies belonging to the civilians in western side of Mosul city.

Popular Mobilization Forces• Found and cleared SIED in the area

between Adhem Lake and Al Buryash in Salah Al-Din.

ISIS• Targeted Popular Mobilization Forces

with an SIED and VBIED in the area between Adhem Lake and Al Buryash in Salah Al-Din.

• A suicide bomber blew himself up on the Popular Mobilization Forces in the

outskirt of Tuz khurmatu in Salah Al-Din and injured two members.

AUG 15, 2017Iraqi Military Forces • Found and cleared a VBIEDs and an

IEDs factories, three weapons’ storages contained missiles and ordnances and five SIEDs in Telafar district in Mosul, and near Al Bu Arak village in Salah Al-Din.

• Found 267 corpses belonged to the Spiker mass grave in Al Qosour area in Salah Al-Din.

ISIS• Attacked Peshmarga Forces in Zarkah

and Bir Mohammad villages in Salah Al-Din, which killed three and injured eleven members of Peshmarga Forces.

• Attacked Popular Mobilization Forces using an SVBIED on the way between Kirkuk-Tikrit from Ouzem Lake in Salah Adin, which injured two members of Popular Mobilization Forces.

AUG 16, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Clashed with ISIS near their positions in

the outskirt of Telafar district in Mosul.• Found twenty corpses belonged to

civilians in Daka Baraka area in Mosul Al-Qadimah.

• Found and cleared five SIEDs in the 600 area in Baiji district in Salah Al-Din.

Popular Mobilization Forces• Repelled ISIS attacks in the areas on the

Iraqi-Syrian border and Namel junction in Salah Al-Din.

• Found and cleared a VBIED and an improvised fighting vehicle on the Iraqi-Syrian border.

ISIS attacked Iraqi Military Forces with SIEDs in Masafi neighborhood and south of Baiji district in Salah Al-Din, which led to the death of six Iraqi Military Forces and injury of six others.

AUG 17, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Launched strikes on ISIS in different

positions in Telafar district in Mosul and Al-Mtebjia area in Salah Al-Din.

• Found and cleared a chemical storage of C4 and Ammonia, a weapons' storage, and a VBIEDs' Factory in Makawi Street and Telafar district in Mosul.

Popular Mobilization Forces• Attacked ISIS units that were trying to

escape to Syria from Talafer district in Mosul.

• Found and cleared three VBIEDs on the road to Syria from Talafer district in Mosul.

AUG 18, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Launched airstrikes on ISIS bases in

Telafer district in Mosul.• Destroyed a VBIEDs factory and

weapons’ storage in Telafer district in Mosul.

ISIS infiltrated a house in Malh village in Kirkuk and killed seven members of an officer family.

AUG 19, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Launched strikes on ISIS in Atshana

Mountain and Telafar district in Mosul.• Found and cleared 66 SIEDs in Atshana

Mountain in Mosul.• Shelled an ISIS position in Atshana

Mountain in Mosul.• Released a Yazidi little girl from ISIS in

Mosul.
