Shepherd capitalized on Fairmont State mistakes to defeat the Falcons, 27-7 on Saturday afternoon at Duvall-Rosier Field. Cooper Hibbs led the Falcons with 155 yards on 19-of-42 passing in the

Dawrence Roberts led all FSU rushing backs with 20 carries for 51 yards. Chris St. Hilaire hauled in seven passes for 58 yards, including a reception of 31 yards.

Cooper Hibbs racked up a career-high 415 yards on 30-of-57 pass attempts and threw four touchdown passes for the Falcons. However, Hibbs was also picked-o! four times in the loss. Daniel Monroe led the FSU ground game with eight carries for 91 yards and a score, Monroe had a 67-yard touch-down run in the third quarter and also hauled in a touchdown reception in the game. Fabian Guerra set a Fairmont State single-game record with 247 receiving yards on 13 catches. Guerra also found the endzone on a 55-yard reception. NDC quarterback Ray Russ was 21-of-40 for 333 yards and tossed three

Belser was born in Fairbanks, Alaska when his father was stationed there with the United State Army. The fam-ily moved to Germany for a year when Belser was two and then settled in North Port, Fla. where he grew up and starred in football in high school at North Port.
