State Objective- The objective for Wednesday is for students to demonstrate how to make a webquest, use podcasts and solve problems. The difficult of webquests is not challenging its using critical thinking and putting information into a project based idea. Students will demonstrate their understanding in how to make a webquest about Submarines and be a detective and look at history and how Submarines evolved transportation. A podcast is a simple task of listening at their convince. A YouTube video will show WWII and history of some of the submarine and ships used in transportation. With 80% accuracy students will know to use a webquest and will create one of their own in one week. With 95% accuracy students can recite informational facts about history and WWII by a podcast and YouTube video that they will create a wordless word document with pictures about some of the things they learned.

Select Methods Media and Material- The link to the website that they will create a webquest will be provided using the internet. A podcast recording will be provided for the students to listen to and reflect on using it and the YouTube video to create a word document. The YouTube video will be chosen in advance and selected for appropriateness to this topic of submarine transportation. The wordless word document will be the new material that they will be creating.

Utilize Media and Materials- A webquest is a great learning tool to be creative with and use a different type of media with technology. Instructions will be presented on the webquest in order for the students to understand what is expected to be on each page. The class will have a time slot in order for the students to create their own webquest. A question at hand will be given for the students to research through links in order to understand and solve the mystery. The learning experience of podcasts is a new way of listening to a lecture at the students convince. YouTube videos can be very educational and teach students about history rather than searching through hundreds of online sources. The YouTube video will be preapproved and when making a document of just pictures it gives students a chance to stray away from text.

Require Learner Participation- In class students will be creating a webquest with examples that are on the site and instructions on each page that will guide them through in placing information that is needed to make it the correct way. Students can ask questions and use the internet to find sources about some of the sunken ships that have gone missing. To follow up with the webquest each student will compare there webquest and findings with another student. A podcast will create a different kind of learning experience rather than just listen to the teacher talk. Podcasts are easy and simple that they can create their very own podcasts about any subject if they please. The wordless word document will be a follow up activity for the podcast and YouTube video reciting.

Evaluate and Revise- To evaluate each webquest I will look at random slide in their webquest from using Zunal. Once each student had shared their webquest with a partner I will come around to each partner and look at slides. They will be evaluated on completion and following the directions linked in the webquest. A podcast listening and YouTube video will be provided. I will evaluate the creativity and educational pictures that will be presented on each wordless document. Students will receive a completion grade for the webquest and document.
