VALE DAVID JONES
All members of the Mount Magnet community were shocked to hear of the loss of David Jones of
Boogardie Station. David was in the prime of his life. He was a valuable member of our community and
will be sadly missed.
David was a sitting Councillor having been elected to Council in May 2005. He was also a member of the Murchison Regional Vermin Council. In his election notice for the 2005 Council elections he described himself to the electors as being HONEST, APPROACHABLE AND OPTIMISTIC and he was all of these plus a lot more.
All Councillors and Staff of the Shire of Mount Magnet will miss the positive contribution he made to Council and we will also miss his cheery
disposition and his honesty and integrity.
~Rest in Peace David ~
