Staffing UpdateThere have been some shifts with our staff this year, and I want to keep everyone up-to-date. Mrs. Kuhn has taken over as IEP Coordinator, Ms. Schaen is remaining our 3rd Grade Teacher, and Mr. Murray returned this week and will be providing intervention for students in greatest need for English Language Arts and Mathematics. We also have Mrs. Pettinger on staff as a Math Title 1 Teacher, and she will be providing intervention support as well. Miss Nicole, our Behavior Specialist, is expecting and will be on maternity beginning in October and will return in January.

Grandparent’s BreakfastGrandparents (or special grandparent like people) are invited to join their grandchild for breakfast on Tuesday, September 13th

from 7:45 to 8:05 in the

cafeteria. Please see the flyer and sign-up form sent home last week for more information (see our website or contact the office if you need a form). We hope to see many grandparents!

Teambuilding EventIn the afternoon on Friday, September 16th, Shihan Bove, Director of Therapeutic Martial Arts, will be at our school to facilitate teambuilding activities for all of our students. We look to promote our behavior expectations – Focus, Responsibility & Thoughtfulness – during these activities with students, while having a great time!

PTST Car WashOn Friday, September 23rd

from 9:00 to 2:00, we will have a car wash located near the main entrance in the parking lot. Please spread the word to your friends and family to stop by. DONATIONS are accepted for a high quality car wash. In addition, we could use some parent volunteers to assist with the car wash. Please contact Mr. Cheraso at -

School Board MembersOur school board is in need of a member / representative. If you or someone you know may be interested in being actively involved with our school / school board, please get in touch with Mr. Cheraso immediately.

PTST MeetingOur PTST meeting this week has been rescheduled for next Thursday, September 15th at 3:00pm in Mr. Cheraso’s office. Students are welcome to attend with parents, and must remain in Mr. Cheraso’s office.
