VBS INFORMATIONAL MEETINGMARCH 31

We will have a short informational meeting for all those interested in the VBS program immediately following the morning service on March 31, in the big room of the Kid’s Building.

ZDT FAMILY EVENTAPRIL 14 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Come enjoy an afternoon of fun with your family at ZDT on Sunday April 14. This event is for children and youth ages 2 – 18 yrs. Cost per child/youth is only $5. Parents are welcome to participate but will need to purchase their own ticket. Socks and sneakers should be worn for the various rides, swim suits for any water rides (towels will not be provided). Please stop by the church foyer counter to sign up no later than April 7. Payment is due upon sign up. See Rhonda Hensarling for any questions or concerns.

PRETEEN CAMP & SCHOLARSHIPSJuly 13-16

Camp Tejas for preteens is just around the corner for those who have completed third through sixth grade. Registration forms can be found in the Kid’s Building. Fill out the form with a $25.00 deposit to reserve your spot and turn it in to the office. If you would like to help sponsor a child for preteen camp, please write preteen camp on an envelope with your donation; any amount will help. The cost is $250.00 per student.

WEDNESDAY MEALSA healthy, home cooked meal is available from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM in the fellowship hall and everyone is welcome. A signup sheet and menu can be found on the church foyer counter. Plates are $5 per person, with a $15 cap on families of 4 or more (ex: a family of 6 pays only $15 for everyone to eat). These are catered meals and a head count is imperative, so we do ask that you are signed up for the meal by 5:00 PM the Monday prior to the meal.

NEIL WINSTON FUNERALThere will be a graveside funeral service for Neil Winston Friday, March 29 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, Pavilion #3 at 10:30 AM. All are welcome to attend. There are maps available in the foyer, as well as a memorial book which you may sign.

JOSH GRAHAM “IN VIEW OF A CALL”The Personnel Committee is recommending to the church that we bring Josh Graham onto the church staff with the primary function of working with our youth. He will be sharing his testimony in the service this morning. Following the service, all parents of those in grades 6-12 are invited to stay for a lunch in the fellowship hall where you will have time to meet Josh. During the evening service at 6:00 PM, Josh will be sharing more extensively about himself and the church as a whole will have an opportunity to ask any questions they may have. We will have a vote by ballot at the conclusion of our service next Sunday morning, March 31, on hiring Josh to serve on staff.

FIRST SUNDAY GRAIN OFFERING APRIL 7

We have partnered with the Seguin Christian Cupboard and will once again be collecting a monthly donation to help the city of Seguin. Beginning in April, we will collect boxes of Cheerios cereal on the first Sunday of each month to stock the shelves at the Christian Cupboard. Please bring your Cheerios donation and place it in the rack in the foyer.

ANNUAL DESSERT AUCTION APRIL 7

Please be sure you are signed up for a dessert by today! Remember that you will need to bring 2 of each dessert you submit (one for trying, one for buying). Please have your dessert, labeled with the dessert and your name, to the kitchen that Sunday morning (or the Fellowship Hall by 4 PM if possible). All proceeds go towards mission work in North America.
