Cleanliness trough the gamesMultiplier event of Erasmus+-project HIT 2016-1-FR01-KA202- 024024

A multiplier event was organized in the premises of KSAO Kouvola Region Vocational College. The goal of the event was to spread the information of the Hospital Cleaners innovative training- project results to enteprices and VET schools and students in the surrounding area and abroad. The invitation was sent to the senior high schools, VET schools and cleaning organizations and enteprices in Kouvola, Kotka, Lappeenranta, Porvoo, Helsinki and Lahti. A bit over 100 participants were welcomed from Finland and abroad. These included students, VET teachers, cleaners and cleaning managers and represetentatives of cleaning enteprices.

During this event the participants got a general information about the goals of the project, how the process of the project has worked, work life partners Kastek and Carea told about their views about the cooperation with VET partners, game designer students and their teacher and KSAO VET professionals told about the process of planning and designing the mini games.

After this the participants had a possibility to experience the results of the project themselves. They discovered the video designed in order to promote the cleaning trade, emphasizing the importance of the roles of cleaners in the hygiene chain in hospitals. They had a change to test the evaluation tool themselves with the guidance of the infection control nurse and VET teacher. The game designers helped them to practice the games and load it to their phones. Also a leaflets were spread with the all the links for Hit materials and QR-code to load the games.
