What is AIS Karaoke Application?

AIS Karaoke on AIS PLAYBOX is an interesting application on a smartphone of

AIS network for their customers who love singing or launches the application on

the AIS PLAYBOX for more entertained – singing songs through the TV and

home theater to get feeling like the real Karaoke.

1. AIS PLAYBOX internet connection checking process

1.1. The AIS PLAYBOX box must be connected to the Internet first. Following

these steps:

1.1.1. Go to the setting menu page.

1.1.2. Select network menu.

1.1.3. Check if the Internet is connected or select the desired network.

2. How to use AIS KARAOKE on AIS PLAYBOX

2.1 Introducing the home menu

When launching onto the AIS KARAOKE on the PLAYBOX, users will find

the home page included:

1) Recommended songs: there are 7 categories: newest songs, latest hit

songs, TV drama and movie songs, pop music, trot music, rock music,

easy-listening music, and country music.

2) Your songs: the latest songs that are selected are stored and can create the

album.

3) Search function: This function is used to search for music information

such as artist, album, or title. Users can find the information by the

defined categories.

4) Add Album Playlist function: This function is used to add favorite songs

into the playlist.

2.2 Add music to song queue.

Users must choose songs to the song queue first by selecting songs in the home

page or song queue page as follows:

2.2.1. Add songs from the home menu.

1) Select the recommended category such as ‘newest songs’ by pressing the down

arrow button of the remote control on the home menu.

2) When choosing the category, the song lists will be shown. Users can add songs

manually to playlist.

Add all songs in the category by pressing the button ‘Add all songs’.

Press the ‘View song queue’ button to view the song queue.

Add songs by selecting each song, and then the selected song will be in the

song queue or cancel by pressing the ‘OK’ button twice on the remote

control.

2.2.2. Add songs from the search menu.

1) Users also add songs from the

search option by typing the artist

name, album, or song title in the

search box.

2) Find the songs from the artist name,

album and song title both in Thai

and English languages that help to

find the songs more easily. Also

there are the song queue button and

close the search option button in the same window.

3) When the alphabet selection is done. Select name, artist, or song title or

album title.

4) Select a song title to add to the song queue. When finished, press the button

to enter the song queue, or press a button to close the search

function.

5) The song queue page will be entered automatically, and then users can sing

the selected songs.

2.2.3. Create album or playlist

1) Press the button.

2) Enter the name for the album. When

finished, select the album cover. Then,

press the OK button.

3) The album is created as a music private store.

4) Users can manage the song lists in the album by pressing the ‘Arranging

music’ button to search and select the songs.

5) Type the name of the song and add it to the song queue of the album.

6) Users can arrange the songs in the

song queue by pressing the button

or delete the songs by

pressing the button .

7) When finished selecting the

songs, press the ‘Done’ button.

8) Users can change the album

name by pressing the ‘Chang

name’ button. Press ‘Done’

button when finished.

9) The created album can be

deleted by pressing ‘Delete’

button. Then the pop-up will

appear to confirm deleting.

2.2.4 Latest selected songs or history

The history page shows the 150 recently selected songs. The songs can be selected

again by pressing ‘Add all songs’ button to select every song in the

list or select a song at a time by pressing ‘+’ button .

2.3 Song queue menu

It is a menu that users can sing selected songs, and music can be arranged or

deleted as desire.

2.3.1 Add songs from song queue menu.

1) Add songs by search option on the top right of the application. Users

select the desired songs and press the ‘Back’ button or ‘X’

button to return to the song queue page.

2) The selected songs will appear in the song list.

2.3.2 Manage the queue in the song queue page.

Arrange the music in the song queue by selecting the name of the song and

pressing the button on the remote control as follows:

Press this button to switch up and down.

Press this button to play the selected song.

Press this button to remove the selected song from the song queue.

2.3.3 Each player button has a function as follows:

Skip to the start or previous track

Rewind (Fast Backwards)

Play or pause

Fast forward

Skip to the end or next track

Karaoke mode

Enlarge screen

2.3.4 Add all songs in the song queue to album.

1) Users can add the song list in the song queue into the album by pressing the

button , and then the pop-up will appear for entitling the album,

selecting album cover. Press the ‘OK’ button when finished. Every

track in the song queue will be in the created album.

2) The system saves the album and locates it in the home page.

2.3.5 Remove all songs in the song queue.

This function can be done by pressing the

‘Delete’ button , and then the pop-up

appear to confirm deleting.

2.4 Setting menu

It is the page for setting and informing

details as well as the current version of the

application.

2.4.1 Change language menu

There are two languages to choose: Thai and English

This menu is about how to use the AIS Karaoke application and how to connect
