Photoshop - Zombie tutorial effects

· Launch Photoshop

· Open the photo that you want to apply zombie effects to

· Duplicate the background layer

· Download a ‘wood skin texture’ from Google

· In Photoshop – place the wood skin texture on the photo that you want to change to a zombie

· Lower the opacity of the wood texture so you can see the photo behind the wood texture.

· Then erase unwanted areas of the wooden texture. Keep the areas on the skin of the model.

· After clearing the wood texture, apply burn tool effects

· Change the layer mode of the wood texture to achieve the outcome you want. I have selected vivid light for example.

· Use the sharpen tool to highlight the cuts. Apply this tool to the wood texture

· Download zombie eye image from Google images. Place this image on the zombie image in Photoshop. Adjust the size. You might need to erase the corners of the eye to make it fit exactly.

· Download a blood spurt image from Google. Then place it on top of your zombie. Again you might need to adjust the size.

· Now you can download whatever background image you want, for my one I chose a dark forest background.

· This is my finished project.
