Hello, I am Yleni Belloso an English teacher at Colegio Universitario de Caracas for tourism students. The next lesson is going to be about some basic vocabulary used at airports and hotels.

Learning goals: this lesson plan has as main purpose to help students improve their pronunciation of basic vocabulary learnt in class and be aware of the tools that they can use to do it by themselves.

•Topic: Airport basic vocabulary: Oral practice.•Skills to be developed: Listening and pronunciation •Materials to be used: pictures, videos and audio, internet, computer, headsets.•Duration of the class: 90 minutes•Objective: to help students improve their pronunciation of vocabulary that will be useful in their careers. •By the end of the lesson students will be aware of the tools they can use to practice and improve their pronunciation.

• Before the class: students should have read the materials given by the teacher.

• Teacher´s preparation: Make the pronunciation video, upload it and check the internet connection.

• Online activities: - The teacher explains the whole purpose of the class and gives

instructions- Watch the video “short pronunciation practice” during the class.- The students brain storm about possible categories to organize

the words in the video• After the class: the students have to make a recording of

themselves practicing the words by using their cellphone.
