WATER PURIFICATION WITH MORINGA OLEIFERA

Abstract

Water is one of things that living creature needed and used for washing, bathing, and for consumption. However, the water sources that we can found around like river and lake were polluted and infeasible to consumption because, the water sources were contaminated by sewage and garbage.

The Purpose

Purifying water from water source that has contaminated by using natural ingredients that do not harm the environment with easy steps to do and affordable to all people.

Moringa Oleifera

Moringa oleifera are round and have many useful, one of that is purify water.

Moringa flowers are yellowish-white.

Moringa leaves are oval with a small size.

Moringa is a plant that has a height about 7-11 meters.

Moringa fruits are oval and long.

Purification Method

1) Take the water from the river to some container as

much as needs2) Peel the seeds of Moringa 3) Mashed the seeds until

smooth

5) Stir the water in the container at a speed of 55-60

revolutions per minute and then then stir gently for 5 minutes

6) Precipitated water for 1-2 hours or more, separate the clear water from sediment

slowly so, there's no sediment will transported

4) Mix of crushed moringa seeds in a container that

contains water turbid (comparison 1 seeds: 1

liter)

The purified water can be use for wash, take a bath and also drink.
