Zoee Lynn Crockett ("with two .e's, two n's, and two t's!") was born at 8:36 a.m. on the last day of January, with a birth weight of eight pounds, nine ounces. Her proud parents are Victor and Joy Crockett, and eight-year-old Sunny Glynn enjoys her new status as a "big sister."

Coming as no surprise to us was seeing the name of Ladoska Keeter on the honor't list for the fall semester at Pembroke State University. Taking 15 semester hours and working during this, her senior year at the university, she earned a grade point average of 3.88. Her planned degree will be in business administration, with major emphasis in accounting.
Ladoska is a member of the Lumber Bridge Town Council, and being

top vote-getter in the local elections, she was named mayor pro-tern. Her parents are Lauren and Edwin Keeter.
Presbyterian youth filled in for the Sunday School teachers on January's "fifth Sunday." Henry Forbis replaced Clarence Watson as Sunday School Superintendent for the day.
