Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year!

As this Christmas season is upon us, it's important to

have the right prospective about the reason we celebrate

Christmas. I have decided to keep my peace and my joy for it

is what helps strengthen me. I am thankful for my family and

friends, yet even more

thankful for the gift of

Salvation. I experienced

an awesome play this

weekend entitled, "This

Man Called Jesus." I

have never witnessed

such a realistic depiction

of the life, death, and

resurrection of Jesus

Christ.

One thing that

blessed me the most

was the impact that this play had on the surrounding commu-

nities which accommodates approximately 2,700 people at

every show. Moreover, it's free - the church doesn't charge

anything! That's really what this sea-

son is about. It's not about the gifts,

even though gifts are fine. It's about

sharing the joy that Jesus Christ can

bring to the hurting, lost and those

who are dying spiritually. Allow God's

joy to be shared with others as we

celebrate Jesus this Christmas sea-

son!

"There's no joy like the joy of Je-

sus. Seeking after more of Him should

be added to your Christmas list!"

Have Faith

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a

whale to

swallow a human because even though they were a

very

large mammal their throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a

whale.

The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swal-

low a human; it was impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will

ask Jonah"

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him."

Prayer for December/January Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you right now for all you have done in our lives! Thank you, most of

all for your Dear Son Jesus, the Christ, who sacrificed His life so we can live. Fa-

ther, help us to remember that our life is to bring You glory. We must remember

that no matter what our situations are right now, that it is subject to change, be-

cause we have been predestined and victory is ours. Help us not to lose faith be-

cause of the problems we presently face, but help us to remember that we were

created for Your purpose. Help us to rest in that and not be frustrated when we feel

as if we are not progressing and moving forward. Jeremiah 29; 11 states, “For I

know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to

harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.“ So, Father help us to not allow

our plans to supersede Your plans for us because our life is not our own and it is to

You we belong. We thank You Father for being the author and finisher of our faith.

We love you! In Jesus name we ask all these things. Amen!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Inspirational Message

It’s that time of year again where we all gather with fam-

ily and close friends to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ,

to remember His legacy of love, and to thank God for the gift of

salvation. For many, this holiday serves as an opportunity to re-

flect upon the many events and experiences the year has brought

us. But how will Christmas be different for you this year? What

blessings can you say have made a definite impact on you this

year? What lessons are you thankful to have learned?

Even more importantly, how have you impacted the lives

of others? Often times, we find it easy to get tied up into the gift

giving portion of the season and not focus as much on those gifts

which can’t be seen. Sometimes showing someone how much you

care for them is the best gift you can give them and that doesn’t

always require spending money. If we look at the example of

Christ we can clearly see that blessings He offered were not of

monetary value. He gave love. He displayed kindness. He oozed of

generosity. He performed miracles. He saved souls and most all,

He gave Himself.

Our sacrifices to one another can never compare to the sac-

rifice that Christ made for us, but the love and selflessness that you

show someone will last much longer than any physical gift you

can buy for them. How can you better give yourself to someone

this holiday season? Would it mean spending more time with your

loved ones? Offering your services to someone in need? Listening

to someone who needs a shoulder to cry on? There are numerous

ways to gift someone as Christ would have.

As always, remember the definition of love according to 1

Corinthians 13:4-8 which states: “Love is patient, love is kind. It

does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dis-

honor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps

no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in

truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always per-

severes. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they

will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled where there

is knowledge, it will pass away.” Have a blessed Christmas.

Joy to the World Lyrics

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!

Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

Nor thorns infest the ground;

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,

Far as the curse is found,

Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love.

March 21st, October 21st, or December 2012? What do you believe?

Page 10 Volume 2, Issue 3

Jesus C

hrist is th

Y!

Some say Judgment Day is May 21st or October 21st, or December 2012. The Bible says, “No one

knows the day nor the hour when Christ re-turns.” This, I believe, stands true today. Instead of

worry-ing about the date, we should focus on whether or not we are prepared for the return. Too

many of us must make changes that will put us in a position to be worthy of Christ’s return. Are we

ready? Have we repented and asked for God’s mercy for the sins we have committed?

Will you be one of those staying behind after the Rapture? Have you accepted Christ? This

should be our concern, instead of the date. The date should be the least of your worries. If God

wanted us to know the date, he would have put it in the Bible with everything else He placed in

there for us to live by. There are some things

God did not want us to know. Obviously, the date of Jesus’ return is one of them. There are people

predicting the date and as a result, people have been selling their possessions. When the predicted

date does not materialize, those people are left with nothing. One organization, which will remain

nameless in this newsletter, has an estimated worth of $18,000,000.00. If the organization is predict-

ing the end of the world, why would they need millions of dollars?

"Study to shew (show) thy-self (yourself) approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be

ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" 2nd Timothy 2:15 - KJV. This verse simply means

that we should read and study the Bible. This process will allow us to not be fooled by the wiles of

the devil. Reading for yourself will allow God to help you to understand and act upon His directions

and lessons in His Word. Many people attend church and wait for the preacher to divulge the Word

Unfortunately, it is important that you read the Word for yourself. Whether you read or don’t

read for your-self, you are held account-able. The excuse of not knowing about the Word will not be

justifiable for God. I am saying all of this to say that if you read the Word, you will know that not

even Jesus knows the date of His return.

So, lets focus on what we do know. We know that Jesus will return. We know God’s expectations

for our lives based upon Bible principles. We must live by those principles and be ready for when-

ever Jesus will return!

Family Watch So . . . What About Relationships and Families?

Page 11 Volume 2, Issue 3

As we leave 2012, and God-willing, enter 2013, be mindful of the decisions and practices

that could potentially harm the fabric of your family. Pray about your decisions, and its pos-

sible impact upon you and the people that you love. Make a conscious effort to do things dif-

ferently so that our results for the new year can be different! Happy New Year!

Many people know that the act of making and having babies have long been a Bibli-

cal act between a man and a woman. When a man leaves his mother and father he

“cleaves” to his wife. The act of cleaving as defined in the dictionary means to cling,

adhere closely, or stick to. This act itself fosters an intimacy that can only be obtained

through the divine miracle of “oneness” that God provided for a married couple. This

intimacy and oneness was meant only for those joined in marriage who have given

themselves one to another.

The sanctity of marriage and the intimacy of the same seems to have become a joke

in our society. I remember a few years ago communicating with an associate of mine

about marriage and relationships. I remember her vividly stating that “a person will

always have their children, they can get another husband or wife.” This rear behind

thinking is what has caused many families to be broken and destroyed. The husband

and wife are and always have been before children. Even in the order of God’s creation,

Adam and Eve were created first. Does this or should this thinking change if there is a

previous marriage? That is another discussion. Please forgive my digression.

Moving on, people jump in and out of marriage, in and out of relationships, in and

out of people’s lives without any thought about what is right or wrong. Today married

couples are together on the certificate, but separate in their homes, finances, and rela-

tionships. Why is that? In the midst of this mess, babies are being born in and out of

wedlock. Most troubling are those babies being born to single, young, unwed mothers.

This is an age-old issue that seems to continue to leap through all classes and races. My

concern about this is why isn’t anyone learning from the mistakes of countless others?

The devil with the help of mankind has destroyed marriages and families. We have

young girls and young boys engaging in grown-up activities. Yet, they cannot seem to

handle the grown-up responsibility of a child. We have these same children being born

and raised without proper parental guidance because their young parents are still trying

to grow up. We have couples who are married, who are not “clinging/cleaving/sticking

to” each other. Instead, they are “clinging/cleaving/sticking to” their children, other

family members, or substance abuse.

We have a society where men want to have husbands, they want to be taken care of,

instead of them taking care of their wives and children. We have women heading up

families because the men do not want to be the man, or the man have left the family.

We have women raising little boys, who seem to think that the organ they have makes

them a man. Dishonesty, strife, and unhappiness, are running rampant through our

families. How can we fix our families?

Scripture References: Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:25-33, Corinthians 7:1-7, 1Timothy 5:8,

1Timothy 3:4

God Bless You!

P.S. I can hear the nay-sayers, “no one is perfect.” I agree totally. This is not to say that people or even the author of this

piece have not made mistakes. It does say, however, that we as parents, leaders, and other influential individuals must

be aggressive TEACHERS to our children. We cannot lay passively by and accept that this is the way it is! We must

begin to fix our families and communities!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. To

me, it is a time of joy, giving, loving, and happiness!

There is no better time of year than Christmas to me. I

can remember being young and waiting for Christmas day

to arrive so that I could open all the gifts I had received.

Unfortunately, as I got older the Christmas spirit kind of

diminished for me. The excitement of what was waiting

for me under the tree did not seem such a huge deal any-

more.

Now that I am older, I have begun to wonder what

excitement I can gain from the Christmas holiday. Then it

hit me! What is the whole point of Christmas? The point

of Christmas is to give not just to receive. Think about it!

Jesus was the first gift and all of His life, he did nothing,

but give and give. When Jesus died on the cross, he asked

his followers to give His love and salvation to the world.

This was done so that we could receive His salvation and

spread the Gospel to others.

So, if there is anyone who has ever felt the way I

have about Christmas, remember it is always better to

give than to receive!

Are you a coffee drinker? If you are, I have a product that is great tasting and healthy! It is called Organo

Gold Coffee. You may say coffee is coffee, they all have caffeine and taste the same. Not so, Organo Gold

Coffee has an ingredient called ganoderma. It is a mushroom grown in China used to treat many illnesses over

there. The ganoderma infused with the coffee has proven to be a healthy and great tasting beverage. Many of

my customers, including my husband, have talked about the increased energy they have after drinking the Or-

gano Gold Coffee. Guess what? No caffeine in this coffee!

If you are interested in purchasing some of this great tasting, healthy coffee, please go to my website:

You may order as much coffee, hot chocolate, or green tea that you want. If you would like to know more

about ganoderma, take a look at the following website:

God desires for all of us to be saved. It is not His desire that any should perish. Nevertheless, He also gave us free will.

Our Father desires us to make the decision of following Him or not. Have you made that decision? When you take your

last breath where will you spend eternity? Will it be Heaven or hell? The end result will be based upon the choice you

made!

It is my hope that you choose to follow God. If you make that choice today, you have to acknowledge that you are a

sinner and repent of your sins. You must acknowledge that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died on the

cross for you. It is as simple as that! God hears you and God Saves you! If you have not made that decision today, please

make it soon. Tomorrow is not promised to you and waiting until later, may be too late!

Eternity is too long to be without God!
