foodwe.be offers what?
We ebable donations, gleaning and online sale at a discount of food products (maximum 60 % of the retail price). The aim is to cover the costsof harvesting, storage, packaging and delivery in order to be able to offer local made products.
Concerning Foodwe
NGO financed and created in 2014 by 60 individuals and consisting uniquely of volunteers. Thereafter supported by the Triodos Bank, several agricultural federations et sinceSeptember 2016 by the Walloon Ministry of Agriculture.
Winner of the European award "European Week for Waste Reduction". In 2015, a total of 11.993 projets to reduce foodwaste were executed throughout Europe.
Foodwe also received the price Coup de Coeur 2014 of the Nicolas Hulot Foundation, finalist 2015 of the price for Social Innovation and finalist 2016 of the Belgian price for Energie and Environment.
