Preparing to install Rearward-facing in the back or front seat: preparationCrucial parts

Whenmountinginthebackseatofthevehicle,pushthefrontseatofthevehicleforwardasmuchaspossible.Whenmountinginthefrontseat,adjustthebackrestinanuprightposition.

Installthefrontbracebyslidingthetwopinsintheholesofthebeltguidinghook.Movethefrontbraceinwardswiththeratchet,notfurtherthanthestopsign.Theratchetisusedtoadjustthefrontbraceinbothdirections.Slidetheknobs(seeredcircle)ontheratchetupordowntochangedirection(1).

Beforeyoucaninstalltheseatinthevehicle,youhavetomount2anchorbeltswhichwillbeconnectedwiththeconnectorsatthebacksideofthechildseat.Theanchorbeltshavetobeconnectedwiththevehicle.Thiscanbedonein4differentways.

Releasethefixingboltsonthe2rear/frontfixingpointsoftherailsofthefrontseatofthevehicle.

Theattachmentfittingshavetogounderneaththerailonthevehicleseatchassis.Reassemblethefixingboltsandtightenfirmly(3).

Threadthebeltloopoftheanchorbeltthroughtheopeningoftheattachmentfitting.Thenbringtheanchorbeltlockingdevicethroughthebeltloopandpullhard(4).

Secureananchorbeltroundeachoftherailsofthefrontseatofthevehiclebybringingthelockingdeviceoftheanchorbeltthroughthebeltloop.Pulltight(5).

Crosstheanchorbeltsunderthefrontseatofthevehicle.

First alternative: using the railsof the front seat

Second alternative: using the rails of the front seat

Third alternative: using the front seat

Insertthebeltloopthroughthegapbetweentheseatcushionandtheseatbackonthefrontseatofthevehicle.Thenbringthelockingdevicethroughthebeltloopandtighten(6).

Pushthefloorsupportdowntothefloor.Thefloorsupportmustgothroughthebeltloopandthebeltloopmustbeledintothehookonthefloorsupport.

Turntheseatintotherightposition(withthefrontbraceagainstthebackrest).

Adjustthefloorsupportsoitisincontactwiththefloorofthevehicle.

Toenlargethespaceforthelegsofthechild,youcanmovethefrontbraceoutwardswiththeratchet.Keepthisspaceassmallaspossible.

Rearward-facing in the back seat: installation

Jointhe2anchorbeltstogethertomakeasinglebelt.Putthelockofbelt1throughtheloopofthebelt2andthenthroughtheloopofbelt1.Pullitfirmly(7).

Putthemiddlepartoftheanchorbeltovertheinnerpartofthevehicleseat.Crossthetwoendsoftheanchorbeltunderthefrontseatofthevehicleandbringthemupwardstotheseat(8).

Adjustmentsofthefrontseatmightbringslackintheanchorbelts;tightentheanchorbeltsagain.
