This area is used to give teachers a place to have a break away from the classroom environment.

ULM Child Development CenterSanitization

In the laundry room we use magnets with each classroom’s name on them to identify which class has a load of laundry in the washer and dryer.


3 Compartment Sink used to sanitize toys.


After toys are washed rinsed and sanitized they are placed on this tray system to air dry over night. Each tray is labeled with each classroom’s name.


Each center must have a mop sink.


Mops must be hung to dry and mop buckets must be emptied after each use.

Four month planning calendar keeps everyone on the same page with unit themes and upcoming events.


This message board is used by the director to post announcements for lead staff and assistants.


The center director designates a staff in charge person if she is out of the building.


The staff member responsible for opening the center and closing the center each day is designated on this board. .


If there are special events going on during the week a reminder of those events are listed each week.


Weekly staff and lesson planning meeting days are designated on this board.


Lead staff schedules are posted


This board is used to keep track of approved schedule changes for both lead staff and assistants. It also keeps track of workers that call in or do not show up for work.


Schedule of student assistants that work at our center. They usually work only 15 hours per week.


Daily classroom forms are turned in at the end of the day in this area.


Change of Schedule Request Forms


Staff daily attendance sign in and out.


Daily morning visual check sheet


Daily attendance logs for children.


Teacher lesson plans are turned in the week before they teach each unit.


Daily checklist are turned in from each classroom with tasks completed initialed off by the staff.


Completed Accident/ Illness and injury reports are turned in here.
