In pursuance to the Notification dated: 18.07.2019 cited at (Ref-L) recruitment process to fill

up vacancies of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women) including In-Service was initiated.

After the recruitment process this Office published First Provisional Select List for the above post on

20.03.2020. After publishing the First Provisional Select List, candidates selected were subjected for

Medical Examination as prescribed in the Cadre and Recruitment Rules called the Karnataka State

Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2009. After conducting the

medical examination, based on the report of the Medical Board, Second Provisional Select List was

published on 22.06.2020(Ref-3). After publishing the Second Provisional Select List, Inspector

General of Police, Central Range, Bengaluru was directed to verify the character and antecedents and

also reservations claimed by the candidates selected in the Provisional Select List. After due

verification, reports are sent to this office by the Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Bengaluru

authorities vide letters cited at (Ref-4). As per the report one of the candidate namely, Sri Aravind

bearing roll No:3738319, his caste certificate is invalid. Therefore, he is not eligible to consider for the

post of PSI (Civil) under category-2A. Hence, his candidature has been cancelled vide cited at

reference- 5.

Thus as per C&R Rules, the Final Select List of candidates pertaining to Central Range,

Bengaluru unit in .order of merit for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police ·(Civil) (Men & Women)

including In-Service is prepared and it is as under.

1) The final appointment is subject to verification of Annual Performance Report and Departmental

Enquires if any pending against any of the In-service candidates and candidates from previous

Government Service.

2) This Final Select List is subject to the final decision of the orders of Hon'ble Kamataka State

Administrative Tribunal / Hon'ble High Court of Kamataka / Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
