Basic Functionality Overview

• Planning information – Web and locally stored via Icon– Navigate to all subordinate locations– View EMT rosters– View checklists– View documents

• Alerting and notifications– Activate (Report) an emergency from Blackberry icon– Receive basic alert information in email text **– Check-in from email and interact with Live Information **

** No PEMS icon necessary **

What Does It Look Like?

Why isn’t PEMS on my Blackberry?

• Having a PEMS program-funded Blackberry does NOT grant access to PEMS application—MUST use eAccess to request PEMS login

• PEMS pushes Blackberry icons to all registered users once a week—improvements are in process that will allow users to push icon using the PEMS Web site

• For issues with your Blackberry related to PEMS please use PEMS Web online troubleshooting guide to resolve
