• Feedback from individual Advisory Board Marketing Committee members approach marketing the college from a number of vantage points e.g.,:
– Strategically position and brand UIC COE’s corporate partnership vis a vis other university offerings e.g., Cornell model, Beckman Institute in Urbana
– Better understand why companies choose to engage, develop and recruit students from UIC’s COE
– Develop a marketing message and campaign– Create list of target companies that effectively align with the COE’s objectives and
strengths– Ensure that the internal support system can deliver on our programs.
• In the interim, look for effective ways to increase the level of engagement with Advisory Board companies.
• Utilize the Advisory Board’s extended network to reach our targeted companies.
