Step 1 – Twitter Search

Let’s head over to http://search.twitter.com and get right into it.

Twitter search is a very powerful resource for us Internet Marketers and if used correctly we can make some cool money out of it. What makes this tool very unique is the fact that we can find any topic being discussed right now on twitter and find out what people need.

Tip: Check out the trending topics as shown above to target hot trends!

Yeah… what’s that got to do with you? Well, if someone is tweeting about something they need, for example “I want to learn Spanish” don’t you think if you chat them up and refer them to a Spanish course, they would buy it? Yes, you are

right, there is a high probability that they will, but you got to do it as if you were their best friend and not as an internet marketer. We will chat more about that later. Let’s continue and find ourselves some hungry prospects. Type in the main keyword into the search box, in this case ‘learn Spanish’ followed by –http –www ? The reason we do this is to remove all the marketer’s tweets and to find out questions from real people. You can do this for any keyword you want to target. As you can see below there are various people tweeting about it the last few minutes.

Check out the third tweet from the top, “nah not really, but thx (: woah Japanese?! Really that’s

great. I learn Italian D: but I want to learn Spanish:/” Now that we have a good topic and a hungry prospect, it’s time to find a product to sell to this person, so let’s head over to Clickbank were they have the largest inventory of digital products and were you can sign up as an affiliate and earn a commission for every sale we make.

Step 2 - Clickbank

Go over to Clickbank.com and sign up by clicking the link as shown below. It’s totally free and you will get approved immediately.

Now, click the “marketplace” link next to the sign up link so that we can find a product to promote. In the new page select ‘language’ from the side bar.

In the new window, we find a bunch of different language products, but the first product called ‘Rocket Spanish’ has caught my eye for a few reasons. It has a good gravity of 44.97 and anything with a gravity of 30 and above is selling well. Next, I click the link to the actual sales page and look at a few important points:

• Testimonials • Bullet points • Guarantee • Other bonuses offered with the products • Call to action or a good graphical buy

button • Your own perspective of the sales page –

Pictures, easy to read, strong headline, etc

If 90% of the above are found on the sales page you got a good and high converting product. After doing the research, click the promote button as illustrated.

A new window will pop up and all you do is enter your Clickbank Id and click ‘Create’.

After clicking ‘Create’, select the link and right click your mouse button and click ‘Copy’.

Just paste the link to your notepad so that we can use it whenever we need it. That’s all there is to this step, so let’s move on to step 3.

Step 3 – Bit.ly

In this step we are going to shorten our ugly Clickbank link and make it look prettier and more appealing. Go to http://Bit.ly. I highly suggest you sign up for this free service and use it. Besides shortening your links, you can track who’s clicking on your link, view which country they from and even view from which site they clicked your link from. Honestly, this is a super resource I use on a regular basis and love.

Ok, time to crab that link we got from Clickbank and paste is into the box as shown.

Now the link will be shorten as shown below, but we want make it more appealing and crap people’s attention when they see the link.

Click customize and replace the letters & numbers after ‘bit.ly/’ with a call to action and with your main keyword in the link. In this case I used ‘learn-spanish-now’

Awesome stuff, let’s copy that link and paste it into notepad for later use.

Tip: Keep the link as short as possible, as twitter only allows 140 characters. The longer the link, the shorter your tweet description will be.

Step 4 – Twitter Search Strategy

Now we are ready to apply the strategy and sell our product. Remember that person we found on Twitter search that mentioned that they wanted to learn Spanish? What we do now is click the reply button and respond with something friendly

and helpful.

Don’t make the mistake that most people do of trying to force a product, or using all those sales page headlines here. Just be honest and helpful. Here is an example below:

You see how natural that sounds and how your prospect will think you’re just helping out. If you get this point right, you will see a lot of sales and make a nice sum of money. Once you have written your reply just click ‘Tweet’ and your good to go.

Like I said this strategy is very simple but very powerful if used as illustrated. You can target various niches and topics, but I suggest you stay away from the ‘make money’ niche as I and other marketers have had very little success in this niche. Try to go for more out of the box stuff. Just look around twitter and check out what

Tip: Don’t overdo this strategy in the beginning as you could have your account closed for spamming! Start off slowly & build on that.

Step 5 – TwitHawk

TwitHawk is a site I use to automate 95% of the whole process. You basically set up the keywords you want to target, write a few tweets with your referral links and sit back and watch the money come in…you just got to love it!!

Ok, first thing you got to do is sign up for a free account at http://www.twithawk.com. Click the ‘Register’ button that will take you to the sign up form.

Fill in your details and in the ‘coupon code’ box enter the word ‘QUARTER’ to get 200 credits for free.

Once you done registering, you will be taken to the dashboard, were all the magic happens. First thing you do here is add your twitter account to TwitHawk.

Next, click on your username on the side bar were you will be taken to the following page below. Click ‘Add Search’, enter your keyword followed by –http –www ? and enter your tweet in the response box. Now for step 4 I highly recommend you enter another 4 responses so that you have a total of at least 5 responses. This way you don’t seem to be spamming in the eyes of twitter. Keep the frequency once per day and click ‘Save Search’ and you’re done.

What will happen next is that TwitHawk will go out to twitter and do all the searching for you and return questions related to your keyword. After a few hours you will have a list of prospects to target. Now you can allow TwitHawk to automatically choose a response and send it out to the prospect or you can go through the list and send whatever response is relevant to the question.

The last option is by far the better one as you don’t want to target all the questions available to

you because as you will learn some of the tweets aren’t all unique. Many times people re-tweet other people’s tweets and you don’t want to target everyone with the same question because you will come across as a spammer.

There other factors why you should just go through the responses manually but that you will naturally get the hang of as you practice.

Now go out there and target other niches and add various responses and you will see that making money isn’t as hard as everybody makes it seem. Make sure you use this on a regular basis without overdoing it. As mentioned earlier, start off slowly with about 10 responses and build up on that on a regular basis. Remember to be helpful and to be yourself at all times. Forget about being a Marketer for now and you will see results real fast.

If you don’t see results with your first attempt, don’t just quit, keep on trying and I guarantee you will see people buying your products.
