Big announcement! Next month, we will debut a clean, new look and layout for WITF’s TV & Radio Listings Guide. Over the past year, we’ve embraced major

changes to our weekday afternoon and early evening programming. With the addition of primetime program repeats like Nature, NOVA, American Experience and Antiques Roadshow to the Learning at Home afternoon schedule, and the expansion of our news and public affairs programming in the early evening, we have more fantastic “appointment viewing” to share with you. Accordingly, the new layout focuses on presenting each day’s programming you care about, all in one place. No more flipping pages back and forth depending on the time of day. You’ll be able to find what’s on WITF with an easy glance, weekdays starting at 1pm and weekends starting at 9am.

By bringing you more daily program updates, we have a little less room for everything currently provided in the guide. So, two concessions. First, many programs will not have the full episode description. We hope you enjoy this update, with more information in an easy-to-read format, as much as we do!

Another important change to note is that we are approaching the end of The Lawrence Welk Show on WITF. As with other PBS stations, the cost to air The Lawrence Welk Show is one of our most expensive among syndicated series, and viewership of the program has been on a steady decline. So, after
