Titles/ Institutions

The font for the titles of the film, are again simple as it is white writing on the black background to make the text more eye catching and so that the audience will take notice.

There are many references that have been mentioned in the film. And there are also ‘special thanks’ messages to local councils and suppliers that have helped make the film.

By giving credit to the sponsors and to the people that have helped make this film, it gives them recognition and also shows that they were thankful

In the opening scenes and through out the film, the re is a strong use of close ups , these act as clues as to what the narrative of the film is about, such as the man searching on the beach , the close up of his buttons on his waistcoat, soon each of the close ups link together.

Page 4: Treasure

These are the most interesting shots in the film as it appears the character is looking down into the camera. This is an effective choice of shot as it feels like the character is going to come out of the screen.

Page 5: Treasure

The compilation of these shots are most effective when looking at the mise en scene and the location, the simple and continuous choice of using the same location means that filming can be done at one time and there is less of a chance that the surroundings will dramatically change

Page 6: Treasure

These shots show the personality of the character, how he collects and keeps everything he finds, the way that we only tend to see half of the character connotes that the story of why he has been looking for these treasures has only been half told.

These close up shots are very simple they show only a small amount of detail in the frame.

The cold blue scenery has changed as we see that the character has found the treasure that he was looking for, the atmosphere in the scene has become warmer to reflect the characters emotion, he has become more content and happy
