Steroids are synthetic hormones designed to treat medical ailments.
They are chemicals, often hormones that the body makes naturally. There are two main types which are called corticosteroids and anabolic-androgenic steroids (anabolic for short).
Corticosteroids are prescribed by doctors for treatments such as allergic reactions and autoimmune diseases while anabolic steroids aid in the process of speeding up muscle.
Steroid could either be taken through the mouth or through injection which influence the body’s hormonal system, producing extra testosterone.
WHAT ARE STEROIDS?
Corticosteroids are medicines that is used to quickly fight off inflammation in your body.

WITHDRAWAL & TREATMENT
“When we work out, we create tiny micro-tears in muscle fibers. When the muscle regrows and heals, it grows back a little bit larger, and repeating that process over time is how we get hard and massive.”
I agree with this statement because my friend and I also do a good amount of weight-lifting and while we lift almost the same thing and have similar body structure, I noticed that his muscle growth was quicker and larger than mine although we went through the same routine. I already knew it was because of the help of steroid that gave him an edge because he mentioned it before hands that he was on it.
AGREE
“Steroids are for guys who want to cheat opponents” – Lawrence Taylor
“Steroids can seem necessary to compete at the highest levels, and the quickest rewards can outweigh the long term consequences to the user’s health.” – Howard Berman
“If I was on steroids, I would have put a lot of companies out of business that night..” – James Toney
QUOTES
“Some potential side-effects of anabolic steroid abuse include: liver tumors, hypertension, increased cholesterol, severe acne, kidney tumors, infertility, baldness, prostate cancer, testicle shrinkage, etc… also causes emotional problems such as dramatic mood swings that could lead to violence, depression, paranoid jealousy, extreme irritability, and impaired judgement; and yet people still look pass that and continue to abuse steroid. Why is that?”
