Management of the training material used in all Frameworks

• Analysis of the available training material coming from European initiatives in GI and the INSPIRE implementation

• Definition of update-adaptation-harmonisation plans for the existing material

• Assessing how to better tune the material to specific national (Italy) and sectoral needs (SMEs)

• Consider the IPR issues and fix agreements for future exploitation.

• Definition of optimal learning paths for the target users specially regarding INSPIRE business processes

• Analysis of the didactic approach, methods, materials and formats.

E-learning Platform (www.gisig.eu/platform)

•Constitute the infrastructure hosting the training modules and training material

•Established by widely e-learning tool (Moodle, the most popular open-source Learning Management System)

•Open to the project members and (open registration) to the users Communities.

•Once subscribed to the Module (or Modules), the user is redirected to an e-learning platform with personalized access.

•Training material developed on a variety of formats: Presentations with voice, screencasts, plain text lectures, exercises, etc.

•Feedback mechanisms (module evaluation questionnaire)

•User guides

•Allows monitoring the user progress and students/teachers interaction

Common approach on the licensing Training components are provided by the members of the Project Consortium under a under Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike License, ensuring maximum dissemination and use of project results.

Shareable contentThe material is collected, structured and organized in an eLearning platform, but presentations and videolecturesare available in SlideShare and YouTube making the material very easy to be shared and used in other contexts.
