Training and Industry Attachment Programme 3

(B TTP Model)In India, a wide gap exists between what academic institutions are providing and what industries need in terms of professional manpower. Most of the students coming out of academic institution, be it a technical or management institute, are not industry-oriented and hence remain unemployable. Mewar University has taken a unique initiative in this regard for the gainful employment of its students through a synergy between academia and industry and aims to offer them best placement after completion of their courses.

3 Mewar University has adopted the policy of best teaching, best training and best placements ( B TTP Model ). We have made skill development of the students an integral part of the curriculum. These students are in the steams like Polytechnic Diploma, Engineering Graduation, Management Science, Computers, Law, etc.

Mewar University is providing best teaching/practical exposure to its students in reputed Government Institutions/Semi Government Institutions/Private Institutions. The University has made a mandatory provision for training as described below.

tha) For B.Tech students (4 years) : 3 to 6 weeks training after 6 semester

ndb) For MBA and M.Sc. students (2 years) : 3 to 6 weeks training after 2 semester

c) For Polytechnic Diploma, BCA, MCA thand BBA students (3 years) : 3 to 6 weeks training after 4 semester

thd) LLB students (3 years) : 3 to 6 weeks training after 4 semester

the) Integrated LLB students (5 years) : 3 to 6 weeks training after 6 semester

During this training, the students will receive training on specific themes based on their respective branch/ specialization, the current practices and the needs of the industry. The students will undergo value added training and will receive a certificate from the concerned Institute.

In the last semester of their programme, the students will have industry attachment. The basic idea is to make the students confident enough to be able to handle their job independently. Such students will be productive from 'day-one' of their joining in the industry.

The ultimate aim of this initiative is to get most of the students from these streams absorbed in the industry concerned.
