Traffic Closure – Glenmore Trail at 37th ST SW
Bridge Demolition
Location: Glenmore Trail and 37th ST SW – Old overpass will be demolished Impact:
• Traffic control personnel directing vehicles
• Closure of Glenmore Trail at 37th ST SW for the demolition of the existing overpass
• Occasional traffic stoppages to allow the transition and opening of the new roadway
• CPS Pay Duty Officers will be present to help traffic navigate through the detour routing
• Lane Closures on Glenmore Trail for six nights
• Full Closure of Glenmore Trail for six nights
• Detour routing will be provided with Variable Message Boards and Detour Signage Reason: Demolition of the old overpass at 37th ST SW and Glenmore Trail Implementation date: February 2, 2020 – Work hours:

Speed limit: 50 km/h from 60 km/h Other information: CPS Pay Duty Officers will be present along the roadways during the Full Closure
of Glenmore Trail to help traffic navigate through the detour routing.
The Grey Eagle Resort and Casino will remain open during the demolition of the 37th ST SW and
Glenmore Trail overpass.
Construction work will be taking place overnight to minimize impacts to traffic.
For your safety, please obey all construction signs when travelling through the area. KGL would like to thank you for your patience during this period of construction.
