Spermatogenesis

• Testes: produce sperm and testosterone

• Scrotum: protects the testes and keeps testes cooler for sperm production

• Vas deferens: tubes that carry sperm from testes to urethra

• Glands – produce fluids that make up SEMEN (used to transport sperm)

• Urethra: tube that carries SPERM and URINE out of the body

• Penis: male organ that transfers sperm into female

In human males, sperm cells are suspended in a fluid medium. The main advantage gained from this adaptation is that the fluid
